Despite me disagreeing in many, many ways with your healer changes in pve, they were a way of fixing pvp healing for now. You ripped off the bandaid knowing some people would be hurt and others would adapt, but that it would fix a necessary issue (in pvpers and your eyes at least).

Now if only people could rip off the bandaid with climate change and investing in green energy and divesting in oil...

This is a fix for one problem that creates a whole slew of others in its wake as collateral damage.

You want to talk about a real "ripping the band-aid off" sort of fix? Have them finally separate PvP from PvE, and then they could balance both independently. Instead, we keep getting into situations like this where one side of the game completely screws over the other.

if you've seen my other posts on the forums, you'll know I've ripped at zos, a lot, and in decent detail already. This really was me wanting an excuse to mention climate change and that we need to rip the bandaid off of that
