After using wayshrines, skills cannot be fired for several seconds. FPS usually tanks, and can take upwards of a minute to get back to normal (though significant stuttering still occurs, even in the middle of nowhere and with no other players around). The game sometimes locks up completely after porting, forcing you to shut down and restart ESO to fix the problem. And don’t even get me started on transit shrines in Cyrodiil.
It basically appears that the game is having serious issues with loading assets properly, particularly after players encounter a load screen. This problem first started (for me, at least) about a year ago:

Elsweyr has only made this problem worse. It’s like the server rolls a pair of dice to determine whether or not someone’s screen will lock up completely during a port attempt on console. The number of blue screens I’ve had on PS4 (for PC folks: this is not a BSOD, but rather the application encountering a significant error that forces a complete shut down of the application) have increased dramatically after porting to a wayshrine since Elsweyr dropped.
I think the console community as a whole would appreciate
any comment on this problem, and some reassurance that this is being looked into. It was not a problem when I first started playing ESO on console; if it had been, I would have written the game off completely, because this is simply unacceptable performance for a triple A MMORPG.
