Quick question about enchants

Well sure it has been answered some times but I could not find definitive info, I thought that enchants could only proc with LA and HA but I red they changed that on octover or november 2018 and they now can activate with weapon abilities that are not DoTs or AoEs and well I did not find anything conclusive so I decided to ask.
And then I have put a disease damage in my bow and I am very pleased I kill people in pvp much faster and I would like to put a weapon damage enchant in my maul basicaly for execute people and well I need to know if the enchant procs with weapon abilities and if the increase in damage is, with a weapon damage enchant, comparable to a damage enchant like the disease enchant.

Vajrak✭✭✭Ground DoTs will proc enchant also, utilize infused for a stronger enchant and better uptime (can proc on CD with infused).0 -

✭✭✭Pretty sure its only Single Target DoTs and non Ground AoE DoTs that don't proc it. The initial direct damage portion of a single target attack that has a DoT effect will still proc it and the Direct damage portion of a AoE with a DoT effect will still proc it. Correct me if I'm wrong but thats how I remember it.

the only skills that can proc enchants from their dots are wall of elements and morphs, stampede(next patch), blade cloak and morphs, and volley and morphs.0 -

non damage dealing enchantments like Weapon damage is I think 9 or 10 and damage dealing ones are shorter like you said at 4.0
