You but We know ZOS, they will not care about feedback and just push it to live and then a lot of people will cry and then, Maybe....Maybe they will change it back.. but knowing them they will not care and keep it the new way..

I have voiced that feedback a while ago when they showed us the u23 notes, but it was ignored. The skill was very cool before, now it is meh at best...
Have the base skill and Shrouded instantly give Major Brutality, and have Flying Blade instantly teleport the player when the projectile lands. The delayed nature of both the Major Brutality and gap close make this entire skill and both morphs super clunky, to the point where they're basically dead.
Yeah this is a trrrible idea guys. Please just put it back to the way it has been. For the love of all that is good and holy just walk away from this one.

they needed to nerf this skill. some build in BG/no-CP are using it as a ranged spammable, and build properly it's an easy 6-7k per hit to a full 30k resist tank....

Please don't break what didn't need to be changed in the 1st place..

I run an off meta pelinal's build on my templar with dual wield. Its pretty fun on live, but it relies on the immediate brutality from hidden blade as a ranged opener to get damage. So basically this skill is getting dropped from the build. I've theorycrafted various ways to fix it after this fix goes in, and they all stink:
1) Use dreugh king. But then I'm stuck with that forever on this build, which is lame since I sometimes experiment with other sets on pelinals builds.
2) Potions. Ingredients right now are 36g for lorkhan's tears, 67g for dragonthorn, and 46g for stinkhorn to makes the cheapest possible brutality potion (oh and also applies fracture you but ignore that for now). 4 potions a pop means about 37g per potion use. Figure 1.5 fights on average per potion use for various trash mobs etc. So thats 370g per 15 fights...just ran through a delve, didn't do the quest, just killed the miniboss and got the skyshard. Used 6 potions. Gonna pass on this.
4) Switch to spell power and use entropy instead. This is probably what I'll end up doing if I want to salvage this build, but I lose out on the balanced warrior bonus. Then I'll probably just drop dual wield on this build entirely, since the only other skill I use is rending slashes, which isn't all that useful for me.
Anyway, please bring back the instant ranged major brutality on this skill.

omg I am EXACTLY in the same situation.
I am trying to play a hybrid character and using pelinal's aptitude set and new flying blade doesn't allow me to open with brutality or stealthy attack. And I have Dreugh King weapons which feel like a waste and looking at making potions which is so expensive.
Now I wonder how many of us are out there that are going to get screwed by the new flying blade.

As always they never listen to us, they are just doubling down on the change.....

you do not need any major buffs for overland pve. only times you really need them is in boss fight in dungeons. if you even need to swap bars for overland pve, you need to rethink your build.
