The set was in a good spot with the changes made to Soul Trap. Then it got nerfed. Not it’s trash again. If they’d kept it just the way it was they wouldn’t have put any time or money into changing that set.

The set was in a good spot with the changes made to Soul Trap. Then it got nerfed. Not it’s trash again. If they’d kept it just the way it was they wouldn’t have put any time or money into changing that set.
The set was OP, not sure why you keep saying it was in a good stop because it simply wasn't.

No it wasn’t. It buffed one single ability and you sacrificed a 5p bonus just for that. A bonus that otherwise could have benefited all of your skills. And in PvP the outcome besides some niche / cheese builds simply revolving around Soul Trap would have been even less.

You could back bar it and get a 70k tooltip on a skill that either hits 6 ppl or gets you 20% resources on kill.
It wasn't balanced, if it was balanced zos would of left it. The fact they didn't tells you everything.
It was a set from a time where soul trap was very different before they increased its tooltip by over 500%. So no the set wasn't made when the new soul trap in mind.
