Elemental Succession and magcro bug?

When testing the new elemental succession on a magcro, is anyone having issues where the mage will not summon sometimes and takes multiple summons to summon it? I'm not having this issue on sets like Burning spell Weave or other stuff. It just seems to be the new Elemental Succession.

I experienced the same problem when doing some testing just now on the PTS.

Righ and we talked about it in Discord, seems to be only that set as far as I know. Spell strat and Burning spell Weave seem to work with the skeleton.

I wonder if it has to do with the proc conditions of the new Elemental succession.

The problem does seem to somehow be tied to the Elemental Succession set. I was trying various combinations of sets on magicka necro (specifically, Burning Spellweave, False God's Devotion, Z'en's, and Elemental Succession). I only had a problem summoning the Arcanist with the latter set on. Any combination of the other 3 presented no problems.

I wonder if it has to do with the little ring that briefly spawns underneath you when the set procs. Like one of the old ground cast bugs that was floating around a while back.

When the set doesn’t proc it’s fine, when it does it messes up.

is the set any good otherwise? it seems that it is at best, 250 extra spell damage, doesn't seem worth anything to me but it seems you have tested it, is it?

The problem is we cannot test it reliably on the magcro. We end up not being able to cast the skeleton and end up using our resources. Since magcro uses all three elements it might be worth testing if it actually works.

In the meantime any other set would do better because you end up trying to cast the Mage five times and drain your magic.

My question here is asking if anyone who has tested it on magcro is having the same issue, since both pickles and I were discussing it in a Discord we share.
