Seventh Legion Set BUGS (Some Skills proc it with double duration, Certain Skills dont proc it all)

Seventh Legion Brute is a very buggy set in PTS. I tested it across all class resistance skills. I am posting my results here.

- BUG - Hurricane/Boundless Storm(Sorc) is proccing it with double/triple duration. Initial cast of Hurricane procs it with 10 sec duration. But as soon as the first 10 sec proc ends, it is automatically refreshed for another 10 secs without another cast of Hurricane. So we are getting 20 secs of proc with Hurricane compared to 10 secs like every other skill. This works even if the set is single-barred with weapons, as long as the same bar has Hurricane as well. From further checks, it seems that every tick of Hurricane attempt to proc it. Similarly Boundless Storm procs it for 30 sec with a single cast.
- BUG - Restoring Focus(Templar) does not proc it at all.
- BUG - NB Shadow Tree are all supposed to be armor proc skills. But only about half of them work. Surprise Attack, Aspect of Terror morphs, Path morphs and only the healing morph Dark Cloak works. Shadowy Disguise, Dark Shade both morphs does not proc it at all.
- Spiked Armor(DK), Frost Cloak(Warden) and Bone Armor(Necro) work normally as expected.
- BUG - The Healthy Recovery part of the proc is not working

akray21✭✭✭✭✭Shhhhh! The bug makes the set useful on stamsorc, otherwise I won't even consider it. Throw stamsorc a freaking bone...
I'm guessing it works like this because the way hurricane is coded. I bet acts as a refreshes each time the circle expands. Don't fix please. Otherwise extend buff duration to 15.Edited by akray21 on July 11, 2019 7:09PM1 -

I wouldn't really call it a nerf. Healing wise, this set is now a serious contender. Duration got doubled. You can control and maintain 100% uptime. And mainly, plus you can single bar it with Master Bow on the back to get more weapon damage unlike previously when it's uptime took a serious hit if single-barred.1 -

A timer increase will be overpowered I think. The whole intent of the set being a proc is to actively track and keep the buff. 10 sec is very generous. Otherwise, increasing the set's timer will basically mean it will be virtually up permanently without any active work. Which would be ridiculous as this set still post-nerf has one of the highest stat density(more than twice of Hundings Rage, which is often used to measure other five piece bonuses.0 -

10 seconds directly conflicts with stamsorc hurricane and it's increasing damage. I won't even consider the set with a 10 second duration given the anti-synergy with hurricane.Edited by akray21 on July 12, 2019 12:00AM0 -

New: Whenever you have Minor Ward, Minor Resolve, Major Ward or Major Resolve, you gain 350 Weapon Damage and 350 Health Recovery.If you see me anywhere. Know that I am sitting back with a bag of popcorn, watching as ESO burns the goodwill of its player base with practices that only disrespects the players time like it did to me and many others...
If a game does not respect your time, best thing to do is move on from it and find something else.1 -
ProzTh3Almighty✭✭✭I can understand it doesnt line up well with all the armor buff but you can play around it. It should not be that easy to maintain 100% uptime without sacrificing something, like recasting your armor buff. Tho stamsorc does get screwed on that if they want hurricane to hit its hardest. But not every build can run every set realistically. If your a stamsorc main just farm truth armor an get the tactician passive an go medium armor an quit using heavy! Fixed plus better weapon dmg!!!! And as long as they dont nerf vigor you wont need the health recovery!

It is a shame, stamsorc is always the forgotten class. You can run 7th in a medium armor setup, which is what I would like to do, but not if the "bug" gets fixed. I will probably play my stamblade with 7th instead.Edited by ZOS_GregoryV on July 12, 2019 3:50AM0 -

I remember this post. These posts are actually the reason they nerfed it for nightblades..
It brought to the devs attension that it has great synergy with the nightblade kit. So they put in a stipulation so that it wouldn't allow shadow skills to proc the set.
