I'm on ps4 and can't really try my build.

So ant kind soul here, that can provide me with details on sorcerer PvE and how it for instance stand against magblade or magplar? :)

Generally speaking? Magsorc DPS has changed, but is comparable if you swap some abilities around - even higher in some instances. They of course are hit with the healing nerf like everyone else, so that's another thing. Templar is roughly the same as it was aside from the fact other classes lost a lot of reliable healing potential so Templars are better healers by default. Magblade is hit heavy by a bunch of nerfs, some of which also affected other classes, but took way more of a toll on magblade. They still have some of their unique utility they've always had, but... they're weak.

That makes me happy to hear, I've always been a no pet sorcerer PvE. You don't need 80k DD to be able to clear all content.

What got me first in the beginning when people said "this suck and this is so much better" I never knew the differences was so smal 5-10k, in the top 1%. And most of us are happy with 40k.

I was just worried sorcerer got much worse, it's slowly losing it's identity - pets, shields.
I'm hoping the passives patch will buff sorcerer, like making bound armament count as a pet slotted, to benefit from passives and all.

Anyone tested the dps difference between pet and non pet sorc with the same gear?

Not with the same gear, but I have tested them.

What I have seen so far is pet sorc live vs pet sorc PTS (same gear and abilities) is a loss of around 15-20% DPS.

Non pet sorc, which I'm still playing with, closes that gap a little when adapting new abilities.

Everything landed above the 40k mark on a 6m dummy.

Do we benefit more from unstable wall now?
And is liquid lightning even worth it? How's the shields? Worth using our ward or is dampen/harness better?

    I prefer unstable wall.

I opted for lightning flood quite some time ago, but the idea of using an AOE dot vs a single target dot is going to be situational I think. In some cases it will be more advantageous, but no longer so in every case.

My perspective on shields is slightly skewed. I usually opt out of putting a shield on my bar unless I absolutely need it. I primarily run vet DLCs and vMA. Someone that runs vet trials will likely have a different perspective. For the content that I do I use empowered ward and sparingly. I believe that it will retain at least some advantage over harness magicka and suffice for what I use it for. Someone doing vMA for the first time may find it lacking.
