This item needs to be reevaluated and reworked now that its tiny stam sustain proc will only be hitting every 8 seconds. Maybe it needs to proc every 2nd tic of healing (still a nerf, but workable), or increase the stam return significantly and leave it on the initial tic. It could even increase the stam regen of those hit by its initial heal (Maybe by 129?) for the duration of the Springs as long as they are still standing in the Springs AoE.

Either way, it will be inefficient to slot one after the Springs changes go live.

*edit: Strike the suggestion to add a stam recov boost, after someone made a very good point about it.

    Maybe a complete overhaul would be best.

    It gives back some (little) ressources every tick. At the end (last tick) a bigger amount OR maybe stronger with every additional tick.

    Or, simple solution. Dmg/Def Buff for PPL inside the AoE. Ofc, an amount that would be neither OP nor garbage :smiley: (Khajiit can hope)

    Those are some interesting solutions too. It'd definitely be a nice refreshing change to the item, which it kinda needs.

    I’m expecting a review of all the arena weapons in Q4, especially if a new set of these are released. So many old ones are outdated at this point, and reevaluating their strengths is overdue. Additionally, there has been a need for many of these to receive either a 1pc bonus, or an additional bonus for a Perfected version since Summerset release (when 2H weapons began counting as 2 set pieces).

    That would definitely be really cool. I like that we have access to these arena weapons, and it definitely makes theory crafting a lot more fun in terms of working around the functionality of them as a standalone item, but they are definitely long overdue for an update. I'm almost afraid to let them touch them though, for fear they'll give them the same treatment they gave everything else this patch.

    Stam regen would be no good imho (I'm most instances where that effect is needed people are blocking and stamregen would not work). In vHR during starfall for example that staff ease the pain of blocking for magDDs whose stamina pool is ridiculous.

    Also tanks would not benefit it anymore.

    I'd cut the return in stam to 120-150 but for all the ticks should not get op and reward mates that stays in the spring (they get more ticks)

    Yes, as now i think the asylum staff is the only worth resto staff (for PVE) if you need some extra self-sustain but that's not very wanted 'cause it helps the caster only and as everyone knows in ESO endgame (and these are NOT early-mid game weapons) the healer and tanks works better with support set for the group.

    Without a rework this staff will be completely worthless not just nerfed (which would not be welcome per se since that stamina return was very little)

    back to topis, the master resto clearly needs to be looked at now, since srprings have been drastically altered it would be fair to adjust the resto to be alest decent again...but in its current state its useless.

    Solid advice but block-cast= Stamina Required
    Mag DD have very small stamina pools (obviously)
    They have a very small stamina regen (obviously)

    In fact mag DDs are benefitting more from it imho since blocking is less a problem on a 30+k stamina pool or, even less, on a tank.

    Could make springs stack twice, so you can either heal more in a place, or cast it in two different places.

    Yes, I was just gonna write that. Master destro is going right into the bank if its not adjusted before live. Its current functionality contradicts what the ability is changed into for patch 5.10. (A dot)
