This set should probably get nerfed, but I like the developers intention of adding another viable DoT to the game.
Templars can do the same thing with Reflective Light, but I don't see the situation you are describing happening in live with Magicka Templar groups spamming it.
I would like to see some actual testing of this though.

Basically the 5pc takes a 2K per second DOT and makes it 4K per second. Is an extra 2K DPS really overpowered for a 5pc set especially after that bonus damage gets cut to 1K DPS after Battle Spirit?
How often do you have 4 DKs hitting you + 2 of your teammates with their breath attack at the exact same time? That's what will be possible with Soul Trap, and it will be done without needing a melee-range cone.Vercingetorix wrote: »Is it really any different than stacking DoTs from multiple DKs in a BG group? I don't see the issue since the solution to what you've posted and what I described is the same - Purge. Either run a purge effect yourself or add another HoT to your setup. Don't forget single-target heals (Regeneration) are getting a major buff this patch - they will offset these DoTs quite a bit!
It doesn't happen very often with Magicka Templars because you aren't normally fighting against teams of 4 of them (especially not with both enemy teams being 100% Magicka Templars at the same time). If every single class in the game, including Stamina builds, had access to Reflective Light, I'd expect that we'd see it flying around more often.Olupajmibanan wrote: »Don't forget

Agreed 100%, which is the reason I made this thread. I sort of think it shouldn't be able to function as yet another bleed for stamina builds, but my main issue with the current iteration is the multi-target aspect.Lord_Eomer wrote: »This skill was useless before, lets make sure to not again put back where it was
If your raid group can't handle Soul Trap only affecting 1 target instead of 2 or 3, you've got much bigger problems.More PvP whine.
PvE needs this to replace crap skills now since the whiners about ground AoE damage in PvP being too strong got gutted.
