Hello,

Did anybody test new Z'en set if it boosts damage of all party members or only the set wearer?

Thank you for answers.

Z'en's seems to have no effect at all, even for the user. Until it is fixed it will be impossible to check if it affects allies hitting the same enemy (definitely implied this should be the case, as with all "damage taken" debuffs).

I think Martial Knowledge is working as a debuff that benefits everyone hitting that enemy. Someone helped me test this one and confirmed that they were seeing the 10% damage increase when my set proc was active.

    Z’en’s Redress (Light):
    2 – 129 Magicka Recovery
    3 – 129 Spell Damage
    4 – 1096 Maximum Magicka
5 – Your Light Attacks apply the Eye of Z’en on enemies for 20 seconds. Enemies with the Eye of Z’en take an additional 2% more damage for each damage over time effect you’ve placed on them, up to 10%.

Any update please, on Z'en Redress and Martial Knowledge working as vulnerability debuffs, thus affecting whole group?

So, Z'en set is currently not working so I can't definitely confirm if it works for whole group.

But what confirms that it is affecting whole group is the last sentence of the ingame tooltip:

    Not at all.
By putting more dots, you increase the effect of the Touch of Zen debuff. But anyone benefits from the debuff.

What confirms that it affects whole group is "you can only receive benefit from one Touch of Zen per enemy". This has been done to limit stacking of the set and prevent situations where 8 players wear it and add together +80% group damage.

now i guess "damage over time effect you’ve placed on them" means aoe dot wont proc it so with what kind of build could you get the full stack?

    MagDK.
Engulfing, Burning Embers, Rearming Trap and Burning are all dots that magDK uses commonly. Now, afte 5.1.0 Erruption will be a lot weaker so it can be possibly replaced with Flame Reach, Soul Trap, Scaling Rune or Entropy.

engulfing flame is an aoe, thus i dont think it will proc the set.
as of burning, in trial with 8 other dd and dk tank chances are high you wont always be the one procing it.

Engulfing is a dot on target! An thanks to it's aoe animation, you can affect multiple enemies with the dot at once. Same principle as Reflective Light.

And burning is fully stackable, so multiple players can have it active. Don't remember the patch when they allowed this but it's like two years ago.
