Only two new character slots?

All pre-release discussion had me hoping for three so I could build one Stam & one magic DPS and use the third for testing out heals or tank. Alas, was only allowed to use the free one and purchase one new slot.

You should contact support perhaps because I'm pretty sure it's three slots total, one free two purchased.

Correct it should be 1 with the purchase of Elsweyr and 2 available in the crown store. You do have to log in and out (all the way into a character) for the first time after purchase for the slot that comes with the chapter. This matches the existing 3 possible character slots per class.
