Where were you when you discovered Bal Foyen?

Embarrassingly, I've been playing ESO for over 2 years and never knew it existed until I started getting serious about finishing up my skyshard achievements. It's so tiny, is not part of the main questline or any of the annual event grind locations. So I can't be the only one.

lol back in Veteran levels it was something all my DC characters did.
So day 1 on xbox drop. lol
The way the game is set up now it can be missed if you dont do missions often

My main is AD so maybe that explains it. I have an EP char too, but didn't go through the story again on it.

Yeah, that would absolutely explain it. I doubt I would have found it if I hadn't been sent there after Bleakrock. AD is the only alliance that only has 1 starter zone (Khenarthii's Roost) - both EP and DC have 2 smaller starter zones instead.

Discovered it on day 1 of my ESO experience.With a Dunmer girl wearing Nord helmet and a greatsword. She is my crafter now.

I know OF IT but I have never been to it, any zone outside of an AD zone I haven't really checked out

Same. With exception that she is grand master crafter and also main character for trials, questing and guild meetings. Always skeptic but kind, toxic but ready to help, drunk but sober when needed, wears exclusively gold jewelry, but counts every used pot. Sincerely yours, Martini Daniels, dunmer from 3rd Era. Similar to my second main who just likes to visit Maiq and to sit looking at endless sea together with him from Bal Foyen's overlook.

It was the first thing I discovered after Davon's Watch when I started playing, as my first character made was an Argonian Dragonknight. I wandered there, and remember thinking to myself that the landscape was really pretty.

Nor did you bother doing Cadwell Silver on your main; I can't really blame you, though, as EP story line is way less interesting than the AD one in my opinion (haven't worked through the DC one, yet, so I don't know how good that one is)

do the Cadwell's gold/silver take you to the little islands? I dont remember going there for it last time i did it (within a year). do seem to recall it though my first time (2015ish).

^ This, how can you miss it? Isnt it also part of cadwells silver or gold when playing an AD or DC char?
