PS4 EU Performance Issues

Howdy all,
Since the Elsweyr patch I have been really struggling to play the game due to lag, I play on the PS4 EU server and lag has always been an issue but is now happening far to frequently to make the game enjoyable. I play in the 7 day PVP campaign to try and escape some of the lag from Vivec and this used to work, however now I am lagging even in 1v1 fights between keeps and my skills are taking 2 seconds to go off.
I was farming skyshards and lorebooks on my necromancer recently and was having lag issues where enemies weren't appearing on my screen but were still there as they were damaging me and I couldn't run through the area they occupied, then after about 15 seconds they popped onto the screen again. I'm pretty sure I was the only person in the delve at this time.
Last night I was in VMA on my sorc, I'm not a pro at VMA but have cleared it numerous times without issues, during the poison round i was getting multiple freezes, abilities not firing and dodges/interrupts just not happening. After dying about 10 times I ragequit.
To be clear nothing has changed with my internet in my house, I am running my PS4 wirelessly so will be purchasing an extender plug to see if that will help.
Has anyone had similar problems? And any advice to make the game playable again?

✭✭✭✭Go to the crown store and buy the lag protection for 20k crowns. I would also buy asynchrony protection for 15k crowns and the anti spaghetti code for only 100k crowns.
If you buy everything at once, you only pay 150k crowns! Can you believe it?
Ok seriously, the majority will agree with you, but sadly it is a neverending story.
Any upgrade to the pro version or a SSD would help a little bit. But i wouldn't do that, coz in the near future you will have problems again.
