No I didn't. I don't do group content. Asked something else.
"[Snarky comment]. You and I did... something about the prelude quest."
No, I didn't.

Playing content out of chronological order must be fun.
Makes you wonder why people skip dialogue completely...
"But you're missing out on SO much!"
Lol. No, not really.

Lol. No, not really.
This is not a common occurrence (that I can recall) and is a mere quibble compared to how fun most of the questing is in ESO. I believe you're missing out, but then again I've never understood why people play MMOs and never read any dialogue to begin with. Whatever floats your boat, I suppose.

Considering the whole content of this discussion, I probably would be more inclined to like NPCs who show less respect for our character. Since it seems... our characters don't really deserve all that much respect sometimes...Dracheimflug wrote: »Razum-dar is one of the few NPC's who actually seems to show respect for our characters, plus seems legitimately competent, so I'm inclined to like him.

Our characters are the smartest and stupidest people in all of Nirn and Oblivion. That's definitely the thing that gets under my skin most about the otherwise great writing (and I often find myself rewriting the "I'm a dumb-butt" dialogue in my head so it's far less awkward).
I also frequently pretend there's another character standing behind me who's asking all the stupid questions about things they should already know, and the NPC is calling them an idiot, not me, when they reply. Meanwhile, my character is rolling their eyes right along with the NPC who's flabbergasted that someone doesn't know what Daedra are.
Wasn't there something about a passphrase to make that crown work? If I remember right, you can ask Raz about what's stopping you from taking the crown and ruling the world and he makes some kind of joke and then mentions a passphrase.
