Twilight flappy wing sound - annoying?

Had pets about on and off for years, only today, playing on my 5:1 speakers instead of headset did i realise how annoying the wing flap sound is, when you're riding across Cyrodill and it keeps resetting to keep up!!

Just me?

You can actually turn down wing flap sound. I did so when I became sensitive to the sound.

This is exactly how I feel as well. The day that ZOS banishes all flappy pets from the game is a day I'll celebrate by kicking so many Khajiit, my foot will start growing fur.

Those Winged Twilights sounded like a high-pitched midnight train ...

The sound is bareable compared to their immense girth. I can be standing dead center in front of a crafting station with my twilight kinda off to one side, slightly behind me, and I won't be able to target anything. Pets already take such extremely reduced damage, would nerfing the Twilight hitbox really unbalance anything?

I wish they would redo the sorc pets. The current ones look so ridiculous and the twilight is annoying. Demons, so much cool stuff you could do with them and they elected to go with the current lame models,

I dislike the flap noise as well, but the Clannfear chitter drives me up the wall. I just tab out and mute the game when I am around those awful things.

I don't have any issues with the sound. I just have major issues with the overall implementation.

Honestly I haven't noticed the wing flap... but don't they also hum? Like some weird melody 'doo-do-doo-do' or whatever. Please somebody tell me I'm not hallucinating. Also, this, a hundred times this:

I agree. Sorc pets are just kind of annoying and TBH it's one of the primary reasons I don't run pets as a sorc. @ZOS_GinaBruno , can't we get a refresh of these already? Or at the very least give the Matriarchs a grounded idle animation as @Konstant_Tel_Necris suggested.

No matter what ZOS does some sound for something will annoy someone.
For example I don't use a lot of fancy mounts because of the sound. The indrik explosion sound for example is relatively loud.
I'm sticking with FishyStick.

No. everyone around you also. It's particularly annoying when they teabag you at the banker.

Meanwhile they killed exquisite chook noises.

I get the views on in town but i desummon. Every time. It's riding in cyrosiil I'm now uber aware of. As they reset and catchup. It's not so bad on headset but now I've heard it on speakers im WOKE haha

Flappy has to be one of the most annoying things their is about ESO. God I wish sorcerer pets would get the same treatment as Necro's and disappear after a 8/16 seconds.

I think I lowered background nosie slider or something. Play with sliders is my suggestion till you find your inner peace again.

Really annoying. But they also get in the way, which is worse. People keep them summoned in towns when it's totally unnecessary....that's what irritates me most.

Ground idle is worth something IF it can help the summon NOT block things.
Often someone will port to a wayshrine and their Winged Twilight will get there first. For someone to click on the wayshrine you have to time your click to get in between the flapping wing.

ASIDE: If we could have an emote to slap a Warden Bear on it's bum and get it off a writ drop-off point, that would be gold.

Just have here land and do some idle animations.
Walk over to tank and stares at him would be one
Start jumping up from time to time after an minute would also work.
