How to level up to get vigor?

Any predictions as to when the next double AP event is likely to be?

I'm thinking early in Q3.

Low level battlegrounds are even enjoyable compared to the max level ones (unless you’re a high cp player with top equip).

Midyear Mayhem at the end of July/beginning of August.

Random battlegrounds, make sure your team comes in second place to earn some AP.

Other than that join a zerg in Cyrodiil or fix keep walls with repair kits.

Don't forget to do the PvP training quest as soon as you get to Cryodil, it's worth a bunch of AP and will get you started.

Very easy skill to unlock.
All you need is some map awareness, wall/door repair kits share a few heals, sprinkle in a few light attacks at enemies while they are sieging your keeps and youre done. Couple hrs tops.

Also. Don't forget to do the "welcome to Cyrodil" quest where they teach you to use the seige equipment and transitus shrines. you can level almost the first three levels of assault and support doing that alone.
Then do as the other say and either do zergs or BG's.. you'll get vigor super quick and caltrops soon after.

I remember when I was a noob getting vigor FIGHTING in Cyro in DIVINES Lol. Just PvP. It’s not hard.

If your fightnyless is insufficients, there is still healinmg those who fight, fixing keeps, just tagging along with those who wight and soaking up enemy fightings, PvP missions, and even the occasional daily login rewards (Yup, those count too!)

BtW, midsummer madness was last year, and likely will come back this year, for double AP gains. Just sayin...

Best way besides repairing keeps is to just follow a zerg group with a raid group and just follow them you will be able to take keeps and get it quick

Once you get it unlocked it levels extremly quick to get the morph

it's not that i dont know what to do in cyrodil. i dont like pvp.


I was on EU server down by aldmeri territory trying to do quests and such and people from the pact would attack me. I kept healing until they got bored and moved on. Annoying. Everytime i left the town i would have to deal with aldmeri guards. gets dull after a while. did i mention i dont like pvp also.

Personally I absolutely detest pvp, the sole reason I go there is unlocking skills. Just wait for the next double ap event, next one is August I think, then just do a handful of battlegrounds. You can get the misery over with very quickly, like ripping of a plaster, guaranteed ap unlike the pvp zones, regardless of whether you win or lose 🤓

Also, if you get death match and you team is getting slaughtered by some godlike pre made, don’t stress or hide, just charge straight at them. The faster that team gets points the faster the game ends and gives you that guaranteed slab of ap 😈

Xp scrolls also increase the rate the skills increase, not just your your character level. Double xp events only increase your character level faster.

This is something that has been said on the forums before, and I have tested it.

LOL, you dont want to deal with the NPC either ? I think some people ask for to much.

Yes, when you fight the guards it might be visible on the map and alert the player enemies. Use an invis potion. They remove all attention from guards. Potion->crouch->get away. Very easy and the potions are based on easy to get materials.

i think you can even AFK farm AP lol. Join battleground and go AFK, watch youtube whatever. It's worst possible advice, i know.

You can level Vigor with a single pledge if it's on your bar and you use a xp pot iirc

I do daily Battlegrounds and Random Dungeons after creating a new character for the bonus xp. So when I reach 50, I already have the Alliance skills unlocked.

Alliance war skill is unlocked by level, same as fighter/mage/undaunted. You need AP only to increase your Alliance war level and then unlock the skills. Once unlocked you level for instance Vigor like any other skill, by earning XP, not AP.
