Adventurer Pack, not a traitor but...

How do you feel when playing in another faction with a different race by adventurer pack? I'm a breton (mostly aesthetic reasons) in Aldmeri Dominion (for cyrodiil, guilds etc) and feel strange. Not a traitor but couldn't find the right word neither. Am I the only one who feels like that or how do you deal with it? I have tried to write a backstory to handle it but when I see DC architecture while attacking, I feel something's wrong

You end up attacking your own people (sort of) in Cadwell's silver and gold. These things happen.

Haven't got a problem with it. My characters have different backstory reasons for joining a faction, but restricted by race isn't one of them. I have a couple khajiit, a couple altmer, mostly nords, and one breton. Mostly because I can't stand Emeric, compared to the other two rulers.

So then you feel everyone should be in their racial homelands? People should marry only into their Race Bretons with Bretons, Dunmer with Dunmer, and never move outside of those lands with racial purity. Doing anything else by logical extension of our logic such as those Argonians who sought to make a home in Aldari Dominion lands are traitors to their race and should be living out their days in Black Marsh.

But you did not disagree with any of those statements.

My Bosmer has been an Imperial citizen his entire life. While the head of State King Cameron may have entered into an Alliance with the Aldmeri Dominion, he does not see any reason to swear service to her. He has more important things to do. Like breaking the curse that has swept through the lands stealing his people's ability to liberate items from others. He has a sharp set of eyes however and is watching the Khajiit closely. He thinks they may behind this curse.

I solved this problem by simply playing an adventurer who helps anyone under attack no matter what land he travels to. I am a DC player mainly because I always have been, but also because of my guild and if I had to choose a faction that seems the most just it would be DC. However I rarely play in cyrodiil so my faction really doesnt matter to me. I'm just a character wandering the world helping those under attack and slaying daedra.
