How about instead we make the other classes not be unintuitive trashbags to play?

Your username makes more sense now.

My real life initials are DK. My XBox Live name has been THEDKEXPERIENCE for about a decade. Haha.
It’s purely a coincidence. I get the same thing on DraftKings forums.

This. All those class skills buff you too because of well designed, useful sorc passives. Devs were out of ideas when they got to templar passives, they were like "whatever, just use the passives to buff the active skills that nobody uses because they aren't very good skills."

Anyone who knows me knows that I’ve played a Magplar about 99% of the last few years, so despite me having (now) 9 characters, most of them were still essentially untouched level 3s.
So I decided that before I leveled my necromancer I should probably finish power leveling the Magsorc I started like 2 years back that had been sitting at level 37.
Here is what I learned as I got to level 44 by killing wasps and deckhands last night.
Nerf Magsorc.
No ... I kid, I kid. It’s fine but wow, you guys have it easy AF. The Magsorc meta rotation is ridiculously intuitive and easy to pull off. I knew what it would be from years of being bursted by a purple cloud as I’m rooted and getting smashed with a crystal at the same time. From the other side it looks like skill ... from the Magsorc side it’s like the least skill based thing I’ve ever done in this game.
Magsorc is just easier.
And while normally the reaction should probably be “just wait till you PVP” I had 300,000+ AP on the character from 2 years ago. Levels 10 to 37 where actually done in Cyrodiil.
In a nutshell I think my Magsorc - who has like 50 skill points total might wipe the floor with my Magplar that has 300 something. I feel like I just decided to take remedial math after a semester of advanced trigonometry.

Riding a well designed bicycle: intuitive, feels natural even though it isn't, is enjoyable to do for long periods of time.
Riding a poorly designed bicycle made by idiots: constant PITA, feels like work just to go in a straight line, is 'challenging' and more difficult only because it is mediocre and slapped together badly.
I personally find templar to be a terribly designed class that's not at all comfortable or intuitive to play.
Higher skill ceiling? Sure. So is trying to run while wearing your shoes on the wrong feet and pants that are eight sizes too large.
Doesn't make it fun.

Wow can I have some of what you're smoking?
If this is the case I should be able to wipe everyone in Cyrodiil just mashing three buttons whilst drinking tea and a cake, or even better I will hand the keyboard to my 5 year old.
Ah but wait, theres other classes too played by skilled players!
Oh wait now I get it, sorry didn't realise that Troll was a playable race

CP is a crutch for people who can’t sustain and want to be "tanky" so they aren’t immediately punished for making mistakes.

There's always people who are good at a class and do kill a lot of players.
You could probably teach a five year old to play either magplar or sorc, however kids, crumbs and tea are not recommended around keyboards. Mine are a few years older that and understand the concept of a 'rotation'.
The dickiest thing about sorcs is they have a high kill ratio because their no brainer, fire and forget crap steals everybodies KB's and like nb's, they just bugger off under pressure.. yawn and the fact that a pet of theirs can be 45 degrees from my los, have the sorc tab'd and it hits the freakin pet.. i mean ffs lol
