I was going to do it until I found out I needed a twitch account, which I don't have nor want, so I am simply opting out. I then saw that the other platforms get it without watching the stream, which was kind of annoying. So, it would be nice if they changed it.

How are you people missing the fact that the Twitch stream is LIVE and the event they are streaming from is physically taking place in North America?

    LIVE.

That means they can't just do it again for whatever time is most convenient for you. Guess what? Its not convenient for a lot of people who live IN NA either.

Are you really going to complain every time there is an event where something is given away AT that event and you can't get it because you weren't able to attend? I hate to break it to you, but there have already been tons of things given away all over the world at events you also did not attend.

Besides, you may already have the mount they are giving away, as it has been made available more than once already.

while I do think that they should just normalize it for all platforms and make it a "kill a monster" requirement for everyone, if you DO decide to open a stream and then leave it on, make sure to select 160 resolution. will save you on bandwidth

One thing I'm sure some reacted to "kill a monster - consoles only."

Sooo Europe and everything east has to have a very late night or super early morning while console can just kill anything at a specific time?

I know it's impossible to pick a time which works for everyone, but just an hour earlier would make things better.

At the least, this opportunity should be provided 3 times to account for the various parts of the world.

Do the same thing everyone else will do, open up a tab on your computer before hand. I'm NA, but I'll be participating in chats on Mixer. Twitch window will be open and quiet.

So, I should just run my electric bill up to "watch" a stream? That is Zenimax's intention?

Like if leaving your computer on for just a stream is going to give you a insane electricity bill

Well, zos services na and eu. Even though those time frames for eso live arnt optimal for eu either. So you have to live with it.

Or they could just make this available for PC players as well, rather than forcing PC to watch streams.
If you are on console, you can earn your rewards by logging into the game on Sunday, June 9, between 8:00PM BST and 4:00AM BST (Monday, June 10) and killing a single monster. You will receive your rewards by June 19.

I don't know if I'd use the term "force". I mean, am I "forced" to run PvP for Vigor/Caltrops? Am I "forced" to run Vet dungeons?

    I get what you're saying, though. ;)

Nope, you can just do without.

    Same for the twitch thing.

But I like your subtle way to imply it. I would have been way more blunt and unpleasant, I think.

Or you know they could just include a time limited code like SWTOR does with free mount/pet give away's. That way all you need to do is look up the free code, redeem it on your account page, the following day and not even bother watching the whole stream unless you want to.

Most people won't watch it anyway, they'll just leave it open and close the muted tab when it's done. Just a waste of data stream.

Yes, here it can be pricey. In summer time rates are inflated, so electricity costs more this time of year, so leaving pc on waiting for a stream to start to "watch" is noticeable.

sorry but what you understand from "unable to log into Twitch and watch a stream"?
you know there are jobs, places where you cant even just open this and leave alone muted to play with not to mention not everyone who can play an game have also access to an device which can be On nonstop for good few hours without giving it break and possibility to charge

this is just pissing on literally everyone who are not in NA or not having self material wealth close to average NA customer...you know, just poorer countries in EU where not everyone is rich enough to have his own vehicle worth of dozens of tousands dollars

Beforehand, as in before OP leaves for work. I did it all the time for ESO Lives and other streams like that that were scheduled while I was at work. JFC I hope ZOS takes out all the free stuff they give, you act like youre owed something just because you live in a different time zone.

sorry but do you still dont understand just word "unable", do you missed what I was writing? not everyone have enough chill/elastic job in which can just enable twich on theirs phone and leave it without problem, not everyone have newest gadgets, phones which can be run for few hours without break and still be charged and not much heated

and sorry about getting on this "free stuff" but if we have to have wached live then it is not that much "free stuff" for us, we need to do activity in order to get this "free stuff" and many of us all what what it is viability to be able to do this as many of us just even cant try to bother with this as not only this is in very bad time for rest of the world besides america but it is also in that bad time in poorer countries where many people dont even have option to have that great electronic stuff like you so they can leave enabled twich on this for few hours without giving its break, charge etc

Sorry, but what don't you understand if "you don't need it" ?

Missing out on it won't break your game, prevent further progression or anything important.

You have every right to WANT it, but you don't NEED it. And if you WANT it, you make do with what you can, to get it. If your job isn't chill enough or elastic enough, you set up a useless stream at home. That incurs an electricity bill increase ? Well, that's how you pay for your mount. Probably still cheaper than actually buying it in the crown store anyway.

Yes, it is inconvenient. The whole Twitch thing is incoinvenient from the start. But if you want something entirely optional that is given free of charges outside of the cost required to operate the system that enables you to collect it, you can't really complain all that much.

And I'm saying that as someone who lives in Europe.

I in theory this is avaible to everyone, in practise for many it is not availe at all because they are in bad spot to be viable to watch this or even just enable it on

      LIFE IS NOT, yes ok

      but why game also?
the best in it is this as EU players most of the time are suffering in anything while NA players not and also to EU players are comming players from other world places as they was ignored with just megaservers

in ESO if you have watched it for longer time players from different world places have or are still suffering by simply bad ping as how far away they are from megaservers or with it by very different time zones to just play and here we ahve NA players on NA megaserver which have in mostly never experienced that much suffering and/or bad experience with ESO, ESO servers like rest of the playerbase which is not in USA on NA megaserver

so again...while life is life and is not always fair then why we cant have fair game? as ESO and ZOS seems to be very biased for only USA playerbase while ignoring rest of the world for this game like just EU megaserver seems to be just improvised *** just to make an dummy of megaserver for rest of the world to show they want also players from this rest of the world while they dont care about them at all

I do think it's kind of lame that PC has to actively watch a stream, while console just has to kill a mob. I get it's because console doesn't have access to the Twitch Drops, but the fact that PC doesn't have the same option just really makes this feel like they're trying to inflate the stream views. You'd think the information and continuation of the cinematic trailer would be enough of a draw to get people to watch.
