    Your premise is that the only way to kill people is to deny them the ability to move in order to force them to either have to suffer an outnumbered mobbing or fight inside oily fire. And even tho you can still hold people in place temporarily, you are upset that you lost the ability to permanently lock someone in place. I fundamentally disagree with your assessment. Having zos hold someone down for you while you kick them in the face is not the kind of competitive combat that makes pvp games great.


    You also propose that damage is nerfed somehow. Damage is higher than its ever been. There is a reason almost every pvper is running very tanky damage dealers. A glass cannon build (even just low armor/health but full impen) gets insta-gibbed in pvp today. At one point in this game, damage was balanced around play skill and build resources. I.E. You either had to be highly skilled or build for a lot of damage. If you built super damage your tank and sustain was crap. Now they give mindless free damage from proc sets and dots. A very low skill player can be a very high damage threat, and a very tanky build player can also be a high damage threat (through sets like fury). This combined with power creep has made the damage in cyrodiil rise. If you want to stop seeing tanks acting like dps then you need to nerf damage. If a tank is low damage, no one will play it. If a full impen no hp no armor dps can live through skill and be rewarded for that risky choice then PEOPLE WILL COME BACK TO THE GAME TO PLAY IT.

    As for the last part though I don't think it will ever happen, becuase of lag. You can be the best player in the world and all it takes is one of many lags or bugs to get you killed, like being unable to break free = dead, sprint bug = dead, animations lock up = dead. Where playing tanky is more forgiving so when these dumb things occur you have a chance to survive. But ye in this meta of insane damage that you cannot counter with skill and infinate lag I see little reason to rely on a skillful damage build because it will not work in most situations unfortunately.

    LoS is simply unavoidable. How could the game differentiate between, say, a rock vs a castle wall? A tree vs rubble.

    The whole premise of keep defending revolves around LoS,

    Simply put without it, there is no game.

    Next I'd say those unaware if LoS become quite familiar after facing it once or twice lol

    its sort of ironic, comment comming for the git good people... frist of all, im usually asked to come help hold places, in most cases against superior numbers... and mostly when i have time to go help out at resources. the small groups usually leave... couse suddenly the people there get healed, so their not so easy to kill... and start to kill those people there...

    Im usualy the one running alorne, called to hold the line, and at times we do, at times we dont, but i atleast dont go knowingly to pick on people i know might not give me a fight, i go to face those that i know can fight...

    They did the snare immunity purely for whining pvp players. I do not pvp except rare occasions I do battlegrounds. I play pve only. The snare change is complete crap and pissed me off greatly. My tank and my main for years is now and I do not even want to run it with the way they keep making it ridiculous. A tanks job is to aggro and crowd control. Yet because of pvp people complaining constantly they ruin the ability to crowd control.

    I’m solo 90% of the time... does that Zerg that’s chasing me care if I think they are formidable or not? Funny enough Xv1’d more popular than ever... wonder if I can get you to tell them to stop chasing 1 person up around a tree...

    Goes both ways. Pugs chase single targets and then get in bad situations because they are brainless. No love for the pugs

    Do you even play the game? CC immunity is the only thing giving solo and small scale players a chance.

    I sort of disagree, the most common scenario is this... 3-4 people, go to farm resources, 8-10 people come to clear them out, often just randoms, the small 3-4group runs into the tower, and abuse LoS mechanics and build ulti on their tank builds, then they ulti on command, rince and repeat...

    The moment a better players come or a skill group they leave, i understand the need for being able to play the game, but one cancer dosent solve anouther cancer...

    If these small groups actually stayed in the open and actually fought, but the constant tower cancer LoS game, needs to go somehow, it not "playing"

    I’m solo 90% of the time... does that Zerg that’s chasing me care if I think they are formidable or not? Funny enough Xv1’d more popular than ever... wonder if I can get you to tell them to stop chasing 1 person up around a tree...

    Goes both ways. Pugs chase single targets and then get in bad situations because they are brainless. No love for the pugs

    Strange, I never had a problem with roots and snares, except one that still hasn't got the nerf it deserves and bugs out break free constantly: petrify. Either way, change doesn't matter to me. If I seriously want to kill a player, there is no escaping anyway :D
