From my point of view the recent server upgrade did absolutely nothing besides maybe allowing the withdrawal of the log in queue.
Last night on PC-EU the chat lag was awful even at close to midnight BST. Filling Trade Guild Stores has become a total nightmare, I have 4 to restock and with a delay of 30+ seconds per item to be listed, it's become a very lengthy process!
I have given up on anything involving the LFG tool and also PVP. If it wasn't for friends doing Trials runs for fun rather than score, I'd probably have given up on them too! Having a group that is able to see the funny side when crazy stuff happens makes some activities still bareable.
As you can see from the above my list of stuff to do whilst ingame is becoming seriously eroded. As a five year player I have built up a great network of friends, they are all that keeps me logging in these days........
Now consider a new player without the benefit of a good support group to help them out, how long before they just leave due to frustration at all the hurdles they need to try to jump just to play the game???
First, the original issue that this thread was for was tied to something specific happening at a specific time, and that has since been resolved. As to your questions, what you're describing is basically correct - the upgrades we did a few weeks back didn't help performance, because that's not what it was intended to do. It basically allowed for more players to get online (hence removing the queue) but was never meant to fix lag or LFG issues. Performance is something our Creative Director has touched on a few times, and we plan to start implementing some changes to help this year. Additionally, we recently posted that we're working on a revamp to the LFG tool which we're also planning to release later this year. We understand the situation is far from ideal, and many of you likely feel you've heard this before, but we are actively working on improvements.

I'm sorry you feel insulted by the truth. ZOS could at least be honest about the fact that they don't give a toss about long term players, because it is good enough for their business when people stay for X amount of time, then leave.Greetings, we've removed a few comments that were baiting in nature and considered bashing by our forum rules.
