Does Stam and Magicka effect RNG?

Is it just me or is RNG influenced on whether your character is stam or mag? I main mag I swear I can find stam gear all day long. Any body else ever get this feeling?

1. I use magicka characters when I clear VMA and I get a lot of bows and daggers etc etc etc
2. My wife uses magicka characters and pulls in tons of VMA staves from chest and weekly rewards1 -

The worst part is when it finally puts you in a group, your healer turns into a werewolf, your tank has 14k HP and the dps is heavy armor, using a restro staff and a two handed sword on the backbar. Then comes the 15 minute penalty before the cycle starts anew.

But no game does not know if you are magic and stamina.
Grinding just make you go in circles.

Truth is not a sometimes kind of thing. It is either true or not true. RNG is random. By definition. Look up confirmation bias, recency bias and that sort of thing. Humans are really bad at dealing with random stuff, so they make up story's to deal with it1 -

Cortimi✭✭✭✭✭On PS4 NA, I ran Blackheart Haven seventy-four (yes, 74, I counted) times on a Stamden trying to get a BP necklace. In utter disgust and frustration, I gave up and abandoned the idea. One day I went to work, my wife logged into my account, got on my Magplar alt, and got the necklace for me on the first (normal mode) run. I ended up upgrading that thing to gold because I knew I'd probably never get another one.
So yeah, after that, if I want stam gear, I roll a mag class. My drops have never been better.Xbox NA: Soviet Messiah

✭✭No, it is reality. The bias is introduced by how we play.
You do an activity that presents alternative rewards until you get the one you want. That cuts off the sample when the first positive is encountered, and never see the repeats. On the other hand, you observe and count the failures before you get the one you want. With a biased sample, you can't get a significant picture of the actual probability.
RNG is working when everyone feels equally cheated.1 -

✭✭The idea is to NOT want what you really want and then you get it. I was farming for vma inferno staff, I got two bows back to back, a resto staff, another bow, a maul, another bow.
Eventually I got the inferno and on my next run got another inferno too."Knee-jerk reactionist."
