I think it'd be super cool to go to Pyandonea, but only after we get all of Tamriel filled in first. It'd be great for like a 10th anniversary type of chapter.

It would be nice to go to other contents. But I doubt that's gonna happen anything soon. As far as I can remember, they want to cover all of Tamriel, now I'm not 100% sure ESO is still a relevant game then (I hope it would still be), but maybe after they have all of Tamriel unlocked then maybe they can start looking into Akaviri, or Atmora or Pyandonea. I would love that, to be honest. Having said all of these, this is why I'm partly disappointed that they didn't include all of Elsweyr, and yet called the chapter "Elsweyr". It further delay the coverage of all of Tamriel. It's a small map compared to the other Chapters. And I am not quite sure why.

I would absolutely love it! Maybe in the future though, too many elf-y type themes have been appearing! The other races need some love as well. 🙂 I've always been fascinated with Maormer! ❤️

maybe not the next chapter. we need something for the redguards/ bretons/ more humanoid races. the past expansions and zones are all about dunmer, altmer, argonians, khajiit, dunmer again...

And yeah, I totally would adore a chapter giving us a look at the maormer, and perhaps a chance to play one (I would gladly pay to change my altmer necromancer into a sea elf in an instant if I had the option!)

And even if they do not wish to go there to preserve the mystery... well, noone said that Pyandonea is the only isle in the sea, right? Always possible to make an "high seas" themed expansion covering some isles between summerset and pyandonea proper... which would actually make a bit more sense with the xenophobic maormer. And just think of how much ship-based options that would give if it was a bunch of isles all over the place instead of one big region!

Bretons are basically all covered. But yeah, Redguards and Nords and Imperials still have several regions left to do... I keep hoping they might make a bit more, say, two regional DLCs for every expansion, instead of the current pace of one... but... I guess that may be asking a bit too much.

I also would love to see more guild sized DLCs like TG and DB, especially some with "either-or" choices, to diversify our characters (as in: "EITHER join the thieves, OR join the watchmen") but I have another discussion for that idea anyhow: https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/387560/additional-guild-ideas-mk-ii

With this in mind from all of the maps I've seen including Pyandonea, Pyandonea is as close to Summerset as Summerset is to the mainland or even as close as Summerset.

But I see what you mean about covering Tamriel first.

The problem with that is the "assumed" part. You know how the saying goes, right?
And as expected, different people made different assumptions...




...so the best we really can say is "somewhere some ways south of the summerset isles"...

But generally, the people of tamriel never considered that place any part of tamriel. It is isolated, extremely unwelcome to visitors (as in, noone who goes there returns), hidden by strange mists and fiercely defended by charmed sea serpents, does not trade much (though is a piratical nuisance to trade and coastal regions) and few even know exactly where it might be...

So, generally NOT considered part of tamriel.

...but that makes it so intriguing!

ZOS already gave us an opportunity to visit places I never dreamed of, like Artaeum. Pyandonea, by all means, is a place thta every lore fan would love to visit. Before ESO we knew quite a few things about Pyandonea and Maormer, but now there is already some interesting lore, and... A possbility to visit Maormer homeland is quite an awesome idea! At least a DLC, but I wish it coule be a chapter.

You're correct . I would like if ZOS or Bethesda released a lore-correct map of Nirn but that would detract from the mystery.
