We paid $35 for the chapter....not the class.......We have every stake in this conversation.

I dont think you understand marketing at all. Necro was the main selling point. No one cares about another leveling zone with no levels and bad story.

Funny coming from a guy with a 2018 join. I think for a large part of the long term playing community a new class was the selling point. Not many 4 +year player gives a hoot about more leveling open world content with no levels.

Haven't tried necro (not interested), but main a Bosmer.

They took stealth away, which wouldn't normally matter, except I seem to have no way of making gold, anymore, so may have to return to stealing in a serious way...

One of the Elsweyr quests bugged, at the last boss and dumping it sent me right back to the begininng of the chain...

At least 2 dailies have bugged, too - maybe more - I've given up, after spending an hour going around in circles in a delve...

Haven't received any motifs, as I haven't been able to complete many of the dailies (2, so far, I think?).

Furnishing mats are now, officially, "rare" (they have been that way for months, but now they're admitting it!) and (non-Elsweyr) motif prices have fallen through the floor, due to the neverending events prior to this.

Both of the Elsweyr houses are badly designed.

The bright hues, clashing colours/patterns and low res furnishings and assets are tiring to look at - both in-game and in your houses.

Bought a beautiful Elsweyr bed, as I can't afford to buy purple quality patterns anymore (even though I'm level 50, max CP!) and can't find a nightstand that doesn't clash with it.

The wardrobes are even worse.

Even if I level a Khajiit, to steal on, I will have to spend the first few months buying bag upgrades, so what is the point?

Dungeon finder is still bugged and the hardware they said they were buying 5 months ago, to fix lag and crashing, still doesn't seem to have arrived; as the lag is ridiculous if too many people are on a dragon and I still get random crashes.

Dragons hardly award any gold and there is no quest to do them (so, no gold from there, either).

They do a lot of damage, which is costly in repairs/repair kits.

Yes, they rarely award furnishing plans (normally green, occasionally blue, almost never purple..), but how are you supposed to get by, if you learn them (rather than sell them), until you have duplicates?

Even then, it assumes someone will buy them for a decent amount.

The wayshrines are, also (literally), miles from some of the dragons.

I know there are other things to compain about, but that is more than enough, for now.

Anyway, as I said. I am playing a Necro, I am not experiencing any major bugs with the class that would make it unplayable or broken.
I would really like to know what the heck people are talking about and why should I be concerned, and why there are some keyboard warriors trying to be demeaning towards people who, surprisingly enough, don't have any major gripes with the cčass/expansion.

This is EXACTLY what you just did to OP with your last post. Many people in this thread are basically telling op to "shut up! I don't see any issues, so you don't get to be upset about the ones you do see", yourself included. This is not helpful or constructive. Your second question, although designed to again be needlessly dismissive and insulting, does contain a legitimate and relevant question that can be answered.

You don't need to be concerned if you're just playing vanilla overland ESO. Many detractors in here who are vehemently defending Zos don't play the full scope of the game and will never encounter the issues brought up in this thread. When you run dungeons and trials or play in PvP, you begin to unravel and experience more of the issues that are all intertwined and go all the way back to the One Tamriel update. There are bugs we've been reporting to Zos until we're blue in the face, and these same issues have been either swept aside, or just outright ignored. We've posted about them here on the forums. We've submitted ticket after ticket. We discussed them at length in the player discords and the combat reps have reported these issues to Zos. Long-time players have done everything we can to bring this stuff to their attention, and yet update after update, we see no fixes, or worse yet, we see no fixes and the issues get worse with the introduction of new content. We get altogether new bugs and new issues.

Don't assume that those who take the time to bring these issues to light don't like the game or don't want you to like the game. Quite the opposite. We freaking love this ridiculous, broken monstrosity. It's why we fight so hard to try to get things fixed that could potentially cascade down into larger bugs that could affect even the vanilla community. When other players immediately dismiss these issues and claim there is no problem, it undermines those efforts, and it sets us back. As it is, due to the nastiness and animosity being displayed all throughout this thread, it's likely to get closed down by a moderator and lost in the shuffle, with Zos never even seeing that there is an issue. It's not helpful.

Their answers in that poll (which they gave freely), automatically, render all those posters' posts (both before and after the poll) utterly irrelevant.

That includes people who won't buy Elsweyr, people who bought Elsweyr for overland quests and who may never roll a necro, people who are currently having fun with the class and who haven't encountered bugs. Northern Elsweyr is huge. You want a tiny zone? Try the Thieves Guild.

C) You don’t have to buy. As far as I’m concerned, there’s more content and quality is Elsweyr than in many AAA games, for less cost.

You looking to buy a TV? I'm opening a new TV shop if you are, they're the same price as other TV's but come with some launch issues.

Sometimes the buttons don't register to control the TV accordingly and other times the TV might just turn off. It's not broken, they're just bugs and we will fix them at some point.

Anyway, the stand is shiny and looks good, so, what do you say, want to buy one?

Myself and a lot of others left that game and came here because we got entirely sick of waiting for things to get fixed with broken promises all while things continued to get worse.

First, don't take you anger on WOW out on this game. Comparing the two is like comparing apples to horses, not even in the same genus.

Does ESO have issues? Yes they do as has EVERY MMO ever made and every one that will be made. Does everyone's issue get fixed to their satisfaction and in the time frame they want? Nope, never going to happen because it's impossible for anyone to ever make everyone happy.

There are sooooooooo many more things in ESO to enjoy. This is not a "OMG rush to end game IAMLEET" kind of game. Take your time, enjoy the journey. Report bugs you see in a non-confrontation way, no insults, site specific examples including where you were, what exactly you were doing, time of day and date, etc... Be respectful. No one looks past the insults and name calling, nor should they.

I'm extremely happy to be here, left WOW 90 days ago and haven't regretted it one day since.

This game has had serious issues for the last 5 years its been out though, the game nearly died after launch because of how bad it was, and with every new chapter they have released, there has just been mind boggling *** going on at ZOS HQ , Cyrodil isnt worth playing because of the massive lag, their just milking the game like a cash cow, and also releasing a broken class that was broken for months on PTS, and you sit here like some giddy fanboy along with the rest of the newbish pve fanbois and just pats ZOS on the back for giving you a new zone with a new story and your oh so wonderful exploration, great, want some rainbow flags as well to plant everywhere ? ;-)

All I can say is you complain a lot....some are never happy. You had some valid points on bugs & such...but there are always needs for patches after releases of DlCs & such.

I'm enjoying the expansion. Brought my new Necros to Sunspire. I enjoy hunting dragons. I have not touched the quests yet though. Yes there are bugs, but "broken" for me means totally unplayable and non-functional. I'm happy with it.

Of course I also acknowledge the importance of people in the community who points out these bugs. Hopefully, these will be fixed soon.

I'm loving the necro class. A few bugs need to be ironed out like the pathing for the blast bones and maybe the speed for mag users. Sometimes I cant siphon the power of dead corpses I just killed. These are the two main things I'm noticing that actually effect the class, besides that I'm super impressed with the class and I'm sure itll be fixed up before June 4th or very soon after.

Hahaha, yeah ok. As much as people complain about this chapter, it and the entire game makes you realize just how bad WOW is and has been. Activision doesn't care, devs don't care which despite what some people say I do not see or feel that in ESO.

Again, I think some people take for grated exactly how good ESO is and how well treated players are in comparison to other games.

Necro might have been the main selling point *for you*. Guess I'm "no one". To me, necro wasn't the selling point. Nice addition to get to eventually, but not the main reason I pre-ordered. I pre-ordered for the story, other content, and the new zone with khajiiti that haven't been seen before. I bought the additional character slots; made one necromancer....so far. My oldest character is currently playing the content...she's a stamina DK.

Why name the expansion Elsweyr if all we're getting is Rimmen/Anequina? It'd be like releasing a the United States of America expansion and only getting to explore Seattle and the rest of Washington State. There's a whole heck of a lot more to the country than just a tiny corner...
