First magsorc for the first 4 years, made me feel really dirty when pvping, then converted to stamsorc. The carry got boring so needed something a bit more challenging in PvP land
Bosmer Stamblade. It used to be my Nord Stamblade because everyone and their dog chose Bosmer for the racial. I love sneaking around snaffling through the pockets of marks, introducing them to the pointy end of my stabby sticks and laughing at the amateurs that can't sneak without the crutch of the racial.
My go-to in any Elder Scrolls game has always been the sneaky thief who's good with a bow, so a Bosmer stamblade seemed like the obvious choice for my first character. Although I never got very far in any of the previous titles, offline RPGs tend not to hold my interest very long. But, that archetype is kind of the biggest draw to me for the franchise, whereas in most RGPs the 'thief' character usually just feels like a weaker version of a damage dealer with some gimmicky in-combat 'steal' type move, in TES you actually feel like a thief and a hunter.
Of course, I have 10 characters, soon to be 11, and I play them all pretty equally and don't consider any my main. In fact, if any of them have significantly more playtime than the rest it would almost certainly not be my stamblade, but my Bosmer Warden, who's actually my crafter, but just really fun to kill things with.
Went with the stamblade though, beacause if ZOS were to announce tomorrow that they were doing away with additional characters and everyone can now only have 1, it would be a relatively easy choice for me which one to keep.

Looking for any guildies I used to play with:
Havoc Warhammer - Alair
LoC EQ2 - Mayi and Iskiab
PRX and Tabula Rasa - Rift - Iskiab
Or anyone else I used to play games with in guilds I’ve forgotten

MagSorc was my first character, though I have changed his name and race LOL. I like the playstyle. But I like the playstyle of MagNecro (or MagMancer?) more, sooooooooooooooo my MagSorc may not be my main come May 20th.

Don't really have mains as such. Highest level girl on both accounts is warden tanky sort. I actually have some of everything, though won't play necromancer.
Personally I find the concept of a main to be very limiting. I have only been playing ESO for about a month now, and I'm still trying to figure out what class that I like the best. I have at least one of each class type that I am playing everyday to at least do the crafting and a daily delve.
In other MMO's that I have played, after a certain point that you have several classes/characters to max level and geared, I wind up playing multiple characters as being limited to just one is not that enjoyable to me. I have more fun in the variety available to me.
With the champion point system that ESO has, after you get classes to level 50, is there really that much difference in them?
