Should Uppercut's damage be reduced?

To clarify: Due to the fact that people actually weave, Uppercut is getting a 14% damage nerf, rather than 6% buff. This still hasn't been addressed.

You mean the reduced damage of Uppercut from 5.0.0?
Yes I think so, but I also strongly feel that Dizzying Swing morph should have remained unchanged (longer cast time but significantly more upfront damage).

If you mean reducing the damage even further, you are mad.

Only if the cast time gets reduced, otherwise a terrible power just gets worse.

Reduce damage by 50%, throw away cast time. At least with morph without stun. Good for pve, good for pvp for classes without own spammable.

I'd just like the ability to work how it is supposed to, that's all.

The cast time hasn't been reduced whatsoever - this represents the entire risk when using dizzying.

You therefore can't reduce the damage without adversely affecting the risk v. reward tradeoff of the skill. And it's already not in a good spot on live.

Expecting an average DPS increase to compensate for this is completely asinine for various reasons:

    1) It's still not close to BiS for PvE stam DPS.
    2) No one in PvP is going to land multiple dizzys in a row to allow a mathematical average to emerge. You land one, two max, as part of a burst combo.
    3) People are reporting that the post-global removal isn't even working properly, and we're less than a week away from Elsweyr.

This situation is a big steaming mess, and the worst part is nobody even wanted ZOS to mess around with dizzy in the first place. And now they're too busy d!cking around with back-and-forth NB changes to devote any effort to fixing this.

Just revert and be done with it, gosh.

    Yes, Kal. Yes.

Heck, implement the ms change (as it doesn't actually do anything, so why not...) but leave the skill's damage as it is on live. If people think it's too strong at a later date (... don't make me laugh. It's already considered relatively weak) then tone it down in a future patch.
