Option to Change Factions with the Faction Lock?

Since the main Cyrodiil campaigns are being faction locked, are we going to get the option to move our current characters onto the one faction? If not, this change means that a lot of players including myself will only be able to play a few of our characters per campaign. This wouldn't be an issue if the 7 day campaigns were actually populated, but with how dead they are currently I seriously doubt that they will have enough players on them even after the faction lock goes live.

darkblue5✭✭✭✭✭Short answer ZOS already said no because it isn't worth the time needed. They'll revert faction lock first, because apparently it'd be an ordeal to implement faction swapping per character due to how the legacy code was done.1 -
darkblue5✭✭✭✭✭I believe that they're ready and willing to reverse faction lock if it goes poorly was during one of their Twitch streams. Possible one of the convention ones? The difficulty of faction swapping was a more recent one I think.1

✭If a lot of people feel like you and dislike faction lock they will move to the unlocked 7-days campaigns, thus, populating them and depopulate the 30-days campaigns. People will basically vote with their "feet" and we will see what is more popular.2 -

The only issue is there is no unlocked 7 day noCP campaign outside IC.

During non peak hours there's probably not much hope for healthy population outside of the 30 day CP campaign.
I really hope they add a race change if they decide to leave faction locks for good. It's going to suck not being able to play half my toons if I actually want to fight another player instead of just PVDoor in a dead campaign. sounds like a l2p issue. you just need to not have friends

✭I've always read that it would be a problem because of cadwell missions. So logically if one completes cadwell silver and gold then they should be allowed a 1 time faction change?
God so much regret going all daggerfall lol. My faction gets farmed so much because they fall for easy tricks and half the time in non CP campaigns you can't even form a group everyone will ignore each other and then wonder why we own 0 keeps except our 2 we spawn in SMH lol0 -

And this is the reason why faction change would he bad ! Every DC would swap and then it would only be a two faction race0
