Those games have been poorly run for years and the quality of the content, while probably fine for a true F2P game, were pretty substandard compared to games like ESO. I did not find the player made content to be any better. I played Neverwinter at launch and dabbled a little in it a year later. Never touched STO.

I think there was some player made content that was heaps better than official one, myself.
my strenght was maps, but there were some quests very well written too.

    Welcome back to eso :)

I came from Neverwinter to eso. I really enjoyed that game at the time, and was mainly doing pvp since I loved basically everything about it. I stopped playing the game after it become so pay2win that my char I worked on for so long could be actually one shot from a new player just because they spent money, and it wasn't like I was a noob, I had the grandmaster of gladiators achievment, meaning I had all pvp achievements and I spent all my time on that game practicing fighting other players but it meant nothing compared to paying real money in the end. And it's sad to hear that they removed the foundry, I remember that being really good and useful.

For me, I could never get into NWO. As for STO I tried it, eventually liked it but seeing the amount of gambling going on, I just went back to ESO. I left ESO because of the gambling mechanics and it seems I can't get away from it.

Since ESO is the least evil in that regard, I came back and went all in with ESO.

Just want to make sure. I have saw and read that in STO they use macros alot. I think that is what it's called. When you program one key to do so many different things. Some people said it was the only way to play. Not sure if you did that or not in STO, but I hope your group doesn't do that here in ESO.

Welcome aboard. Wouldn't mind joining the group, but I suck at playing the game so stick to being a lone wolf when playing so I don't ruin the fun for others.
Not my quote but I love this saying

"I would pay It for support. But since they choosed we are just numbers and not customers, i dont mind if game and zos goes to oblivion"

In ESO you have 5 abilities and an ultimate per bar, that's 12 skills, in STO I had up to 46 skills to use in my rotation, at high end and extremely difficult stuff, equivalent to vCR+3 here (only possible with foundry adventures) you had to use the built in MACRO system, a complete language of keybinds and controls was written into the engine and it is really well done once you master it. The system was and is part of the game, however in ESO it is against the ToS I understand, in any case it wouldn't work in the same way, and to be honest you don't need it, a good weaving rotation will give you the best DPS and at times where you need to interrupt the rotation through situational circumstances the MACRO would not work as it would be firing off the wrong key.

TL/DR in STO yes, but not in ESO, in STO it was necessary, in ESO it's a liability.

Here is a trailer for one of the foundry missions I made, if you were a fan of The Motion Picture you should recognise this.
