1 - Deny that all PvP cheats exist, even when you have proof
2 - Accomodates PvP whiners, who may or may not lose because of said cheats
3 - Nerf Bosmers, Nightblade, Sorcerers, whatever they whine about, rather than fixing cheats
4 - PvE players get shafted because of PvP and cheats, but "it fits the lore".9 -

Gatviper✭✭✭✭Yeah I've actually seen people like that in Cyrodiil, rarely but they are there. You should be able to counter Shadow Cloak with an AoE, or see people when reveal potion is active. You hit those people, second later they're invisible again, you barely see them, no matter how much effort you do to keep them visible. Piercing Mark lasts 5sec and (from my understanding) can't be removed with the first purge, only with subsequent ones, yet such players disappear second after anyway.

So they can simply say "See, I'm not cheating....I'm just really great at healing myself...you should L2P"....

Again, be wary of those players who deny or try to downplay cheating.
If you're honestly good at PvP, you'd be the loudest ones against it. It diminishes your actual accomplishments.7 -
I've seen an increase in cheaters on BG's. The last couple of days I found some and reported them straight away, when in doubt report anyway, it could help identify those cheaters.1

✭✭✭If you start looking you will see cheating happens a lot more than you would have expected.
This is as prevalent as botting is. So just consider that for a moment. Botting is actually harder to set up and run than this and other ESO cheats.
BUT some still try to propose few actually use cheats. Given it is easier to do than botting how do you possibly justify the position it occurs less often than botting?

They can fix it and I am sure have done some work on doing just that. However I believe they do not allocate enough resources or energy around it.
These kind of choices usually revolve around the economics and there is little to no return on addressing cheats and botting issues, UNLESS the player population becomes informed and engaged enough and it threatens the game driving them away.

They've tried 6 or 7 times but it's still here.
And the combat bug is just 1 game breaking issue of the hundred issues currently happening.
The game is becoming a meme.

Every game has hacks like this. Nothing to make a big fuss about. People will always find a way to make these works, no matter how often it gets fixed.
It is a constant battle for developers.

The thing that people forget about meteor weekend was the "Z" did it to show that a lot of the pvp trash talkers were using what he used all along (since launch...). He just did it in a way it could not be ignored or "git gud"ed.2 -
The easiest thing is to report, we've our part, then it is up to ZOS to take care or not.
I can only speak for myself, but when in doubt I report straight away, the player maybe legit, if so then ZOS won't do anything, if not the report was made and they can do whatever they want.

ryh✭✭✭Ive digged russian forum a little and seems that in fact this cheat (develpoed about 2017 and still updated after few hours of every udpate of ESO) can do a mess with server peroformance and other players performacne looking at the way this cheat works. Not fully understand but looks like some part of cheat is to dealy/jitter of pockets sending by cheater PC and then by rapid sending information about player position and movement and then again delay, so for exapmle inivisblity work even for players of ur alliance (check 1st video 4:55 where one of the cheater in group disapper for chetar that record video - u can se other cheaters on screen only when they are not fighting - when they fight they are invisible for each other also).
Its not important to ban or report cheaters. They can stay in game for me.
After ban they will make another account anyway.
Its important to fix game so such cheat will be not possbile.
Then cheaters will have no possibility to cheat and probally will leave game.
BTW
The videos are not fully censored at some moments cheaters userid and toon names are visible. Additionaly some other user pointed me execly ToS records that prohibite writing on forum about cheats proove (u can talk about cheats but u cant show evidences). Thats why ive changed 1st and 2nd post.3 -
the PC/EU server bg's below level 50 are unplayable at the moment due to the numerous cheaters with the engine active, if you don't believe me go check it out. this is a joke to be honest.5
