People discussed this extensively in another thread, but yes the fact that Imperials mostly feature as the 'enemy' in other peoples' stories is quite frustrating. Dunmer had two-and-a-half base game zones and an entire Chapter dedicated to them, where we immersed ourself in dunmer culture, we helped their cause, where the dunmer were the protagonist in their own story. Even Orcs got a small zone in base game and an entire DLC dedicated to orc culture, orc politics, orc heroes.NawThey could add a story DLC set in Skyrim, like they added Murkmire, that would enough.
However the next Chapter needs to be Imperial-themed. Firstly, because Oblivion fans deserve some pandering, and because they need to do justice to the Empire's storyline in ESO. It can't just be reduced to a PvP sandbox. And the glorious Tharn dynasty would be sorely wasted if we don't get some quality Imperial content.
For the Empire! (The image is from TES:Legends)
Imperial themed? That's hilarious.
A good like prob 70% of the main story in Elsweyr involves around Imperials. In fact, Imperials and Dragons are literally the "enemy" for this entire chapter.
I dunno about you, but I'd consider that some "quality" imperial content. The main villain queen lady is a Tharn family member lol.....
Meanwhile you have things like vampires and werewolves that are TRULY underrepresented in the game. With only 1 quest each, not quest line, but singular quest and nothing more.
Imperials on the other hand featured as brief villains in Bangkorai, and as a backdrop for the Dark Brotherhood which was about the Stabby McStab club, not about the Empire or Imperial heroes. That's as if the only Redguard zone was Hew's Bane that focuses on the Thieves Guild - but no, Redguards had one-and-a-half base game zones and most of Craglorn. Cyrodiil and the Imperial City are PvP zones, not story zones, and even the quests in IC involve Daedra and are far more similar to Coldharbour than anything Imperial. And yes, in Elsweyr Imperials are once again villains in some other culture's story.
'What epic storyline should we write for Abnur Tharn, Imperial Chancellor, battlemage and political schemer?' 'Ooh, I know, something with cats!' 'Cats?' 'Yes, cats, and dragons!' 'Dragons?' 'Yes, and let's make him look like an idiot, and make players fight evil Imperials!' 'Again?' 'That's top quality Imperial content right there!'...
...
It'd be funny if it wasn't true.

Eh, not so much. Winterhold is my least fav area in Skyrim. I don't think we need more Skyrim to introduce one-hand + rune or spell book to the game.
I'm mostly done with Skyrim. Yeah yeah.... I still play it when I can't get logged into ESO. But still.... the only reason is LotD. I'm really.... not into going there otherwise. I need about a ten year break from Skyrim....

I love it when people get that demanding tone in their "suggestions".

Text has no tone and no context. You are applying your own bias to what you're reading.

Skyrim has been rereleased 7 times already, id rather go somewhere we havnt been. Leave it for 2021 when its skyrims 10th anniversary
