Probably others have reached 3,600 in the past, but getting there is still very impressive.
Though I do hope no botting was involved.
Some people suggest that very high CP accounts also use botting methods to get there.
Not accusing anyone, just stating a fact.

How do we know they didn't exploit the xp as well, there were many opportunities to take advantage of exploits that let you gained nearly infinite amounts of xp

And you don’t know that they did. Do you say someone could have cheated any time you hear of someone accomplishing something, whether in ESO or elsewhere?

I get in about an hour most days, with more a few weekends a year. I’m at almost 1200 CP. 3600 would be a heck of a grind but it’s possible.

Why not speed up the CP grind? 3600 should not have taken so long and required so much intense grinding. (But, that dedication. Wow. I could not have stuck it out that long.) Why design a system that takes so long to max, especially after the institution of the hard pre-cap? I know people that refuse to stick with ESO because the CP grind prohibits doing non carry Trails and DLC dungeons for too long. CP would be less of a problem if it were gained faster. I apologize for hijacking your thread with my CP system complaint, but I think it needs to be addressed.

That's the first player I have heard of reaching 3,600. Congrats on that. It certainly deserves a title at least on par with the master angler one people similarly perform acts of grinding I cannot fathom to achieve. Perhaps master grinder. Or the catchier Masochist.

My foggy memory from those years past recalls the posts from dev's around the time of the cap mentioning much lower numbers than 3,600. I think I remember one where Rich said something like 1,250 points was the highest. Very few had more than 500 at the time of the cap. I had 800. This was quite high at the time. I did not receive any "compensation" for it when the cap came and I was in favor of the cap at that time. I had been against the idea of champ points in the first place.

Almost 3 years ago there was a forum post about a player who already had 2700 CP or something like that. If that person kept playing he surely has CP3600 for a long time by now.

Nice! That makes me wonder how many people actually have 3k+ cp.. i wish theres a title for every thousand of cp you earned coz the only way that people can see your true max cp ( after cap) is using an add on.

That's fake. I have more than that and I had no issue queuing for dungeons, other than the usual ones, like having to click the queue button many times in order to make it work. People see the dungeon finder malfunctioning and blame it on things that have no influence whatsoever. In fact what happens when more people than usual queue, let's say at peak hours in the evenings and/or during double XP events the software that handles the queue and group matching gets overwhelmed and can't make groups fast enough. Or it outright bugs out and makes and unmakes them in short order. We've all seen the forming group -> instant confirmation fail -> queued again loop. And it's not only dungeons, but BGs as well, as they probably use the same module, or a similar one.

Well I'm glad I will be able to spend my CP after all these years. I've been over the cap for almost 5 years now, reaching the then current cap of 501 CP on May 22nd 2016. I'm currently at 2308, and I will most likely gain another 10-15 CP by the time the patch that uncaps it drops on live.

Well the guy will have a bit more convenience in swapping around traits, but it's not like he gets to apply all 3600 CP's at once for God-like stats.

If I could go back in time, I would certainly not grind CP's to 3600 regardless of the changes in the new update.
