Which Platform do you play ESO on?

Console release was only an optimistic rumour when I started playing, and the PC is more likely to be free than the TV in my house.

Also text chat is more practical for me than voice chat, and using text chat on consoles seems like it would be annoying - either needing to drop the controller to use a keyboard or using one of those tiny ones that plug in the bottom of the controller.

Other than that though I don't really have any preference. We have a pretty good gaming PC and 7 consoles currently plugged into the TV (plus various Nintendo handhelds, and I have a few games on my phone) and I'll play on whatever the game was released on, or whatever I think suits it best if there's more than one option.

PC but I use PS4 pad through the new steam thingy (I didn't buy it on steam). Steam smashed it with that. DS4 windows and input mapper were horrible and xBox/wii U pads are as squishy as AD nightblades.

It would seem unplayable without add-ons, ZoS are catching up slowly with the add-on crafters though.

I have a PC account.

But Crown Store purchases prevent me from permanently switching. QoL is definitely better there.

But the game runs, my friends are on PS4 and I'm max CP there so, I'll be sticking with Ol' faithful.

So I definitely wouldn't take this poll as being any sort of indication as to which platform has the higher player base.

my personal theory is that its because in general pc players tend to be more heavily involved in external gaming media, its sort of an extensions of having propensity to mess around with your gaming, whether through hardware or software mods, and in part becasue its so much easier to tab out of the game and just type on the forums than it is to do on a console. on ps4 at least I've pretty much given up on doing anything internetey. even if I want to look up an achievement guide for something I'm playing and for some random reason decided I wanted to try to get a platinum for - I just bring a tablet with me. just easier that way.

consoles are great for many reasons, but going on the forums, especially WHILE in game... is not one of those reasons.

I remember few months back this was a hot topic, It was clear console was significantly higher both xbox and ps4, now look at the numbers

These numbers are only indicative of one thing and one thing only. HOW MANY CONSOLE PLAYERS HAVE DROPPED ESO!!!

I don’t think there has been any growth in pc just the remnants.

Macbook pro. Running better than my brother's gaming PC at the moment. I also have it on PS4, but didn't like the ridiculously long load screens. Are they better now than when console launched?

I prefer playing with DS4 controller, it feels much more natural for me.

Action Duration Reminder... best in-combat addon; it should be integrated in ESO by devs
