Last summer saw NMG and Sunderflame, two formerly group-supportive sets, get rocked into generic Major/Minor debuffs, and Elsweyr looks like it's going after the Major Slayer sets by introducing the Tooth of Lokkestiiz set. This video by Asian shows off how relatively easy it is to get good uptimes on the set, and how fast you can outpace a 5AY 3WM group comp with 8Lokke.
My worries for this set stem from how I enjoy supporting my group through Master Architect. Lokke removes that group coordination of who's wearing Slayer and where they should sit to give the most amount of people the best Slayer uptime.
It's true - not every group has a lot of stam, not every healer throws synergies reliably (or even throws orbs at all), some folks would rather hit higher personal DPS than support their fellow deeps, and for fights where you're mostly mag it'll be better to have someone in Architect. But removing DPS group support isn't my jam.
I think it should still be a strong set - but not with the Major Slayer buff, or maybe just a shorter Slayer uptime (8-10, or less, seconds instead of 15). As it is right now, I feel Lokke is just overtuned. There was a thread a while back that mentioned making it a stam-moondancer, which I can totally get behind.
