So it's now May 7th 2019 (6 months down the road) and we've heard NOTHING on the topic of "Communication".
Should the silence from ZOS really speak for itself?

So we have @ZOS_MattFiror saying they knew about the issue but let it get worse. We have @ZOS_GinaBruno saying a new communication plan is coming...since November, no rush, and
@ZOS_RobGarrett saying "a majority of the bugs and issues faced are not ones everyone encounters or are drastically halting gameplay, as such they need to continue creating content for people who want new content to play and don’t play at the higher level to notice if a skill or mechanic works a little wonky."

This will never happen. Continue feeding company with money, and make everything even worse.

I second what the OP asks for. This weekend I wanted to play and I crashed 3 times, and couldn't play at all both in Shor and Vivec (PC EU). The lagspikes were incredible and the average ping was 250 ms, while if I ping google I get a solid 14 ms of answer.

Considering I'm a magblade that relies on frequent barswaps, it was just overwhelming.

Almost without fail, every first log-in for me, results in a disconnect within 5 minutes. Usually followed by a couplemore within 10-15 minutes. Ping is low fps 100. Not a router issue; video driver (newest ones installed); speedtest fine, so what is up?

Almost seems like they have a random rotation when servers get too full that selects someone to disconnect then when another player is disconnected or logs off, you can connected again. Conspiracy theory I know but sure seems strange.

I am getting really annoyed with this happening almost every night, especially when I go to in Cyro.

They've made soooooo many promises that never did anything.

They have nothing to answer , because they lack the capacity to figure out what's wrong.
All they will do is force-feeding us with new broken dlcs that will introduce meta builds so
we have to buy them in order to keep in touch with the meta, and meanwhile they will go on
develop their upcoming "triple A" (lol they said that,yes!) until the game eventually dies,
which by the rate of the game's deterioration shown these past years, will come sooner than expected.

Just logged off from Cyrodiil. I've heard the horror stories of people suffering extremely bad performance, and i counted myself as one of the lucky few with no big issues except some lag.
But today, oh boy, today i saw it all.

Skill not firing? Check
5 minute loading screen in the middle of nowhere? Check
5 minute loading screen when entering an outer postern door in a contested keep? Check - BONUS: when i'm back, i'm dead!
5 minute loading screen when starting repair on a main gate? Check - BONUS: when i'm back, i'm dead!
5 minute loading screen at every transitus jump? Check

I logged off because i was spending literally more time waiting than playing.
So i guess that the horror stories are true.

No. The Midyear Mayhem Encore Event already happened.

MIDYEAR IN MORNINGSTAR

I hope they manage to fix the server a bit until the next event. I can live with a wobbly server, but the moment prime time hits it's like I'm trying to play Skyrim on a Windows 95 computer not working

You may be better off just using google maps if you want a roadmap to those server upgrades. It may just be a road to nowhere, but you will at least get an honest answer from them...

I strongly doubt that there will be an official response of the kind the OP is hoping for.

1) I am pretty sure by now that the upgrades were for capacity only, not performance.
2.1) ZOS can’t confirm the above publicly without there being backlash.
2.2) ZOS can’t say they were expecting performance upgrades as part of the process without people suggesting incompetence.
2.3) ZOS can’t commit to performance upgrades without being held to that by forum-goers with long memories.

My expectation is that ZOS will stay silent on this until (at least) the anniversary event (and consequent player bubble) is over. My further prediction is that we will get a corporate-speak “we are monitoring the situation” announcement at some later point (a month or two) while doing nothing except waiting for enough people to leave EU permanently for the server requirements to not be so high.

ZOS is developing a new game. PC-NA are the golden child. PC-EU is going to get a sun total of nothing.
