Bug report - Radius of synergy prompt for Conduit
Greetings to all the devs and fellow PTS testers as well.
After doing some tests on PTS I noticed a bug on Lightning Splash and it's Conduit synergy. The availability radius for synergy prompt does not match the radius of the ability. Even if you stay within radius of Lightning Splash, Conduit prompt won't appear unless you go very closse to the center of the ability.
Synergy prompt availability radius is the same (synergy appears only if standing in the center) for unmorphed version and both morphs. This bug is much more noticeable if using Lightning Flood morph, since the morph makes ability radius bigger. In this case, synergy availability radius makes less than roughly one third of the ability radius.
The Lightning Flood morph is very counterintuitive now. The ability tooltip states "an ally standing withing the nexus can activate the Conduit synergy". Ability radius is very big so even if you clearly stand within the ability, you can't proc the synergy until you go to the absolute center of the ability.
Why do I believe this is a bug and not an intended feature? It is the only ability in the game with smaller radius for synergy prompt than radius of ability itself.
Spear Shards is the same effect in principle (a circular ground effect with more noticeable visual effect in the center than on edges of the circle), yet the synergy prompt appears even if you stand at the very edge of the ability radius.
Lightning Flood morph is finally viable so fixing this bug can help trial groups with their Alkosh uptime.
Thanks for your time.
