it would also be nice if they returned back to craglorn. such a hassle to collect them all now..
Now in crown store: crafting writ location markers for future characters once a character in the account has found it, 5k crowns.

Some Master Writ and even regular daily writ support would also be quite helpful and would be a strong quality of life improvement.
Would be nice if they treated survey nodes similar to "points of interest," or any other location in the game that has an associated permanent icon, in that once you harvest a survey, it will forever have a permanent icon on the map marking that location for that character.
Or simply add a map editor tool that allows us to put custom markers on our own maps wherever we want them that will persist in perpetuity.

And how do I get that in-game, like with the PC version?

You made the choice to play on PS4. Add-ons have been around since before the console versions even existed, so research could have been done.
Don't blame ZoS on this one... it's Sony who doesn't play nice and doesn't allow the add-ons, plus the consoles can barely run the game, include add-ons and it becomes unplayable.

Are you the official ZoS defender? Is everything they do perfect?
I was looking at items on the PS4 last year and they had a special so I purchased it. I am at fault for that?
I am not allowed to ask for improvements to the PS4 and likely XBOX?
I didn't see the "you will always be a second class citizen of this MMO warning either.

What I'd counter that with is why should they be easy to find?
Once you've been there 20 times, you'll know exactly where they are. If anything, I think some of the survey maps could be drawn a little clearer and more precise.
The map would look really funny if everything was right next to a wayshrine and easy to get to. We'd either have dozens of wayshrines everywhere or lots of empty open spaces because we have to cram everything around a wayshrine.
I would just be happy if \reloadui would reset the survey nodes instead of forcing me to run off some random distance only to return and find out I didn't quite run off far enough and repeat the process until it respawns...
Edit: Clarification - For when I have multiples of the same survey in my inventory.

8 seconds on your horse, in a straight line, with rapids, has always worked for me

I tend to do something similar, but some nodes make 8 seconds in a straight line difficult to manage due to terrain, water, mobs, etc.

Agreed, I've figured out over the years what's the best way to run for each survey. Many of them I've found a "signpost", a rock, a tree, a wayshrine to loop around that always resets it. Surprised that nobody's made an add-on for PC that shows when it's reset
Logging out and back in works too, but that takes WAAAAAAAAAY too long
