daily monster hunting system

Is there like some sort of daily or weekly hunting log that changes daily or weekly, asking you to kill a specific mob in the world? like a hunting log of sorts.
I'd love to be looking for monster all over tamriel (maybe always in the alliance land the quest was taken) for mobs and getting rewards for it. I don't think we'have such a system yet, but I'd love for it to be one
what do you think? and what would you give as a reward for that?

oh phew, thanks for reminding me. for a minute there i forgot that the elder scrolls online wasn't final fantasy 14. i don't know why that happens sometimes...i'll just be playing eso and say to myself "gosh i really do love this game that i'm playing that is called final fantasy 14 and not the elder scrolls online" so i'm really glad someone's always around to remind me which game i'm playing.

this could be a cool idea. always down for more things to do.

The only thing that comes close at the moment are the "bounty" quests in cyrodil I guess... "Go out and kill some gobbos, any gobbos... go out and kill some black dagger banditss, any black daggers..." etc.

But I would love to see something along "hunting" quests for finding the right beast to bag... but then, I would, considering some old ideas of mine: https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/387560/additional-guild-ideas-mk-ii

You mean like the Fighter's guild, Mages' guild, and Ashlander daily quests?

The closest thing we have is the World Boss dailies. "Go fight this group boss with your buddies from zone chat." Or the Mages Guild public dungeon dailies.

Or the Blackfeather Court CWC daily that asks for bits of hide from certain creatures.

There's achievements for killing types of creatures and for getting the RNG trophy from certain creatures - but they aren't dailies.

Partly that's because going out and griding certain creaturea is really, really easy in this game. WBs, or close three dolmens (FG), or fight the group boss of a public dungeon (MG) is at least maybe a little more entertaining than "Slaughter 25 harpies".

Besides, any type of daily that gets competitive with other players quickly becomes a pain.

In Vvardenfell there's an NPC in Ald Ruhn (forgot his name sorry) who gives daily quests to kill various monsters. I think it's pretty close to what you're talking about.
