Necromancer Minions vs Sorcerer Pets

Necromancer's Skeletal Mage and Mender are both untargetable. Sorcerers Twilight and Clanfear/Imp are targetable. I like how blastbones can be killed reasonably. Why are sorcerers pets still targetable? I would prefer some consistency with pets that do similar functions.

On a side note, I would recommend the necropotence set to work with the necromancer's minions.

    Yes, please make my Sorc pets untargetable so they can not be killed under any circumstances!

    I would very much like sorc pets to untargetable. No more hiding in personal zoo.

    Well... If they're not targetable in gameplay, then the trade off should be that I can kill them at crafting stations. And writ turn in. And the bank. And wayshrines.

    Go ahead and throw warden bear in there too.



    Now that I think about it, the merchant and banker need to be killable inside the bank.

    I may have a problem... ;)

    The Necromancer's summons function more like buffs that have an animation attached to them, rather than "real" pets. That said, I'd like an option to de-prioritize pets for targeting, rather than just making them untargetable all together. Something like a checkbox in the options that will only target the pet(s) if there's no player near the crosshair.

    Please also do this for beneficial abilities. My Warden's "Spiderman Heal" can have its targeting messed up by friendly pets, which has gotten me killed more than once. Best I remember, this wasn't an issue before the player's own bear became a valid target for the vine.

    Why would you want them to be untargetable? You can hide behind their hitboxes increasing your own survival chances. Just makes no sense. Or is it "nerf sorc" thread again?

    Well since there not pets really there temp spells that instead of some shining ball following you its now shaped like a undead
    but it's still that same ball in the end

    It's like asking why i can't snipe that meteor ult from the sky be for it hits the ground

    I kind of really want the mage and archer to be perminate pets for the nercomancer just because that is what people want when they are a nercomancer (also the set nercopotence).

    But I can see how incredibly annoying it would be to have to despawn them everytime you walked into town to not get killed by gaurds plus having a cost to resummon rather than a constant source of damage.
