I propose changing the Stygian armor set into a hybrid armor set by the following:
OLD (current)
2 - adds 129 Spell Damage
3 - adds 1096 Max. Stamina
4 - adds 1096 Max. Magicka
5 - While you are Sneaking or invisible, your damage done with Magicka Abilities is increased by 20%
NEW
2 - adds 1096 Max. Stamina
3 - adds 1096 Max. Magicka
4 - adds 129 Spell and Weapon Damage
5 - While you are Sneaking or invisible, your damage done with Magicka Abilities is increased by 20%
Alternatively,
NEW
2 - adds 1096 Max. Stamina
3 - adds 1096 Max. Magicka
4 - adds 1487 Spell Penetration
5 - While you are Sneaking or invisible, your damage done with Magicka Abilities is increased by 20%
The armor set is medium weight so magic characters loss out of the LA passive benefits. It's also one of the few armor sets that seems to have an emphasis on Nightblades, as their centered around stealth and invisibility. The set could more utilized with some updating.

I like the idea... first version being the best.
I tried the Stygian set as a Magblade, it being a medium armour set wasn’t an issue. I went with heavy monster helm and medium Stygian chest and the rest light. Just finish the Stygian set with jewellery/weapons.
I didn’t like the set though after trying it. If you’ve tried it do you actually get 20% damage buff with all the % increases in game?
