Snare and immobilize immunity abilities

As of patch 5.0.1 Nightblade got Double Take reworked into ability that grants 4 seconds of snare and immobilize immunity. So, Forward Momentum got a 4 second immunity, Race Against Time got a 4 second immunity, Double Take got a 4 second immunity, but Reflective Plate got only 2 seconds of the very same immunity.

Can somebody explain to me? Where is the infamous consistency that ZoS is seeking?

    They gave that to nb plus a fast grim focus? to maybe slow down the feed about grim focus. The fact is they didnt really do anything class balancing wise. Kind of a wasted patch.

    Necro reanimate ult is going to broken af in pvp

    1 Nb needs a change with grim focus (doesnt need to be revert back to its og state but its garbage right now) still not sure about that minor mangle on incap

    2 Stamsorcs needs a little love. Not much just a little something

    3 Stamplar....

    Those are the three biggest thing talked about on the forums and nothing was done for them. But maybe im being to bitchy. We still have a few more weeks of pts...

    this cant be allowed to happen or we will have no ability to get out of immediate Danger = we will be dead, no escape while in sneak.

    They are probably focusing on NB's since particularly mag nb needs some serious changes. That being said 4s of snare immunity on wings would be really nice because screw snares / roots.
    Overload rework. Power Overload now does physical damage and grants you the power of a tornado: You throw a brick at the target with a light attack, and you hammer your head into that brick with every heavy attack. We have decreased its Ultimate cost, but increased the chance that you get stuck in the animation.

    Players need to understand that this not a thread asking for buffs or nerfs. It's only a request for consistency. All other abilities of this kind have 4 seconds while Reflective Plate is the ONLY ONE that have 2 seconds.

    Complaining nightblades getting snare immunity isn't particularly effective anymore.

    Everything aside, I'm all for shuffle getting 4s as well.

    That's because a NB can combine Reflective Plate with Cloak. DK's can't cloak away after casting Reflective Plate.

    Are you blind? You literally get a snare and immobilize removal. That makes it easier to escape

    How is that a complaint? I merely saying that they’ve now added two other forms of snare immunity both normalized with FM at 4 seconds and yet shuffle can only be 3.5 max but realistically only 2.5 since seven medium just isn’t viable and probably never will be. Yes RAT is a great skill, but it won’t be viable on medium builds both due to limited magicka pools but more importantly the loss of major evasion. Idk about others but on my Stamplar I don’t have the bar space to run, say, blade cloak and RAT.

    It's nonsensical. There is absolutely no reason that Protective Plate shouldn't have the same normalized 4 second immunity that the other powers have, and it could be argued that class abilities should have more immunity because they aren't available to everyone. I have no idea how ZoS could possible look at RaT and Protective Plate and determine "yes, these 2 abilities are equal".

    Actually, by applying all the same rules to abilities, every snare remove in the game should receive 4 second duration. This doesn't only include reflective plate, but poor shuffle as well.

    Heck, I'd go as far as saying shuffle should also increase the 4 second window per piece of med armor worn so there's actually identity to the armor line.

    Don't you guys know that there are "rule breakers" that allow some exceptions to the rule? Reflective plate is just one of those exceptions.

    On a more serious note, it does feel as if reflective plate has been forgotten about and left behind, and the duration should be "corrected" to follow the same consistency of other abilities. Especially now since its reflect is going to be removed which also means projectile CC's are going to go through it.

    So magica users and heavy users get better snare immunity than medium - what's going on? Like really, who's idea was this? I know medium can run magica skills but you already have class stuff that need magica (frag shield, cloak, streak etc). Can't really run Forward Momentum in medium as you need the heal from rally.

    Make shuffle work like annulment - 2 seconds base then 0.4 seconds more per piece of medium. So a 5-1-1 setup will get 4 seconds. Reduce the major evasion buff time if you really want to compensate.

    Or just make shuffle give 2 at base and 5 at fully leveled, unrelated to the amount of armor worn; let medium armor have it's mobility, that's literally the point of the armor set.

    Both Shuffle and Protective Plate deserve to have their snare immunity buffed to at least make them somewhat closer in balance to tools like RaT or Forward Momentum.

    Hope that we will see in today's patch notes that Reflective Plate snare/immo immunity has been increased to 4 seconds and Shuffle immunity duration has been increased as well.

    ZoS present themselves as consistency seekers, so let's see if they are not just hypocrites.

    The whole point of medium armor was supposed to be mobility and snare immunity, now thats completely ruined though.

    adding 4 sec major expedition and 4 sec snare immunity to shuffle would fix that

    Race Against Time is so strong, I don't see why a PvP build wouldn't use it. I'm probably going to drop Streak on my StamSorc for it. Which is a shame since that is one of the few remaining Sorc abilities on my ability bar..
