Downloading the PTS?

I'm downloading the PTS for the first time in years (I had it from when I first started until just after Summerset when I needed the space for something else) so I don't remember how it worked before. It's been downloading for about 4 hours now and is only on 4% - so at this rate it's going to take about 100 hours to download the entire thing.

Is there a chance it's like updates to the live client, where at some point it switches from 'downloading' to 'applying' and the percentage jumps up rapidly? Or is it just going to keep ticking along at the same rate?

    Quick update in case anyone else needs to know: it very slowly got up to about 25% then started 'applying patch' and then was done in about an hour. :D

    So not quick, but a lot faster than it looked it would be.
