However a huge problem I had was that playing with a lot of necro skills on my bar made me nauseous. I only noticed after some time, but I definitely felt sick after playing around on the dummy for a

Someone else mentioned something similar and I wonder if anyone else feels the same way?

When I am looking at the necromancer skills on my bar it makes me nauseous, and my eyes feel strained and tired. It also induces headaches (migraines) for me. Blue light is a trigger so I wear blue light filtered glasses, but the necromancer feels like a bit too much blue.

So point A is it makes me feel sick.

Point B is that I don't feel the plain blue feels necromantic in theme and falls flat. The particle effects are nice but I urge you to consider other colors or ways of showing off these abilities like flaming skull and such. Just my feedback. (Also throwing in here that boneyard is not impressive from an animation and theme viewpoint).

What are y'alls thoughts? If anything I hope they change the animations to something that I can play without getting a headache. This is totally going to be a "new main" worth thousands of hours of gameplay 😈

Look man, zos isn't gonna change things for the 0.1 % that has these kinds of problems.

Also there us something called night mode on windows that allows you to reduce blue light emissions if this causes so many problems.

I tend to get migraines. I haven’t noticed an issue yet, but I also haven’t played the necromancer as long as I normally might when leveling up a new character.

But one thing I can recommend to help: there is a program called f.lux. I think it originated on Linux, but is now available in some form on alll platforms. It is meant to filter out blue monitor light in the evening to help with sleep patterns, but you can tweak the setting to change the color sprectrum to be less blue (warmer) all day. Worth a shot.

Edit: I should also mention that it’s a free program.

I have migraine and I was going to write about f.lux, too. You can set the colour temperature to more warm - I use 5000K as the base during the day, and the app gently "diminishes" it even more after the sunset (2500K during the night).
You will see huge difference between default temperature almost all manufacturers set for the monitor (6500K) and custom value you can set yourself with f.lux - here's the link: https://justgetflux.com/

I get where you're coming from (I'm not a big fan of bright blue abilities at all). You're going to get best results by adjusting your monitor and your surroundings.

I can't speak on physical illness relating to the blue colors as I don't experience it though it seems there are ways around it.

As to point B, however, light blue has been the color associated with necromancy in TES for as long as I can remember.

Won't help if everyone around you is playing a necro I suspect.

Sounds like vitural sickness. Make sure you eaten and drinken plenty of fuilds. Try having music in background so you don't immerse yourself to much. Could also trade a shader to make it less blue. I feel you though, I couldn't play Skyrim long because it made me sick.
