Just jumped on the PTS and did some testing in cyro and nocp BGs.
Build to put everything in context: 2x pirate skeleton, 5x spell strategist (Inferno) 5x bright throat boast 1x brp resto backbar
Assassins will hits like a wet noodle without minor berserk, and the healing component is so spontantious and small its almost neglectable. Hitting people for 7k AW is fairly good in noCP I suppose, this led to a 3k heal. High risk when standing in the middle of blast bone spamming necros, 0 reward for a crap heal and subpar damage. This skill needs a damn rework and much more functionality outside of just burst potential.

Dark Cloak is a complete waste of a slot, it heals even less than mutagen (see picture with similar uptimes), costs absurd amounts of magicka and even 8 seconds is nowhere nearly justified. The class needs a damn burstheal, I keep saying this for years, not another subpar hot that gets bursted through with ease.
Swallow soul finally hits my targets again if they dont dodgeroll, but the healing is still utter garbage (compare to mutagen/ dark cloak).
My OP healing for hots. Note that some are actually buffed by major vitality on top:

Soul Harvest at least hasn't received any nerfs yet but its really hard to justify running upclose to an enemy that is likely to hold block/dodgeroll my whole ultimate's effect. Even if it connects, every enemy with half a braincell will be able to avoid noodle's will, which leaves you without any for of pressure again.´
Sap essence damage is decentish now, but the main problem is that the healing component is not tied to damage done. Don't ask me why inhale scales with damage done while sap essence has a flat healing component that heals for not even 3k when standing in the middle of a group with major vitatlity running...
Race against time actually feels really nice to use, much needed, though this applies to almost any class now and everyone and their mother will run this. At least the game feels fast-paced again.
So to summ it up: magblades got mobility back, still run around naked without any form of proper defenses, do negliable damage if they dont manage to hit the most highly telegraphed combo in the game and are probably doomed to stay healing slaves for the next patch iteration. Nice.
