Acces to Elsweyr PTS

Do have i to preorder to test necromancer and Elsweyer? If not how to get acces to that?

you don't have to preorder to have access to elsweyer on pts but you need an invite, if you already had access to either morrowind or summerset or both you should be able to just login if not you may need to get an invite, in all case you need to login a first time to any char to unlock the chapter (the necro class won't be available until you unlock the chapter)

We're just waiting on the invite emails with our codes. ZOS need a better system for this like a code generator or to send a retail code with Chapter pre-purchase, especially for those on console who have PTS specifically for stuff like this.

Frustrating but more because HYPE

I guess you need a preorder: i got an invite to Summerset but not Elsweyr.

You didn't get one because you don't need one. You're automatically invited if you participated in any of the previous chapter tests.

I didn't preorder any chapter and I still had access to all of them and if you did receive an invite to summerset then you should be able to test elsweyr, since you only get one invite and that is valid for all chapter just login on pts and load any char you should receive the chapter

Had to been in the other chapter betas. They will be sending more invites throughout the week.

Something seems to be wrong here. I did not pre-order elsweyr yet, and I logged on pts and it showed necro as locked (this was before the pts came up properly, so I didn't check if I could access elsweyr at all). I was so hyped I decided to go put in my pre-order code, then I could roll a necro.

I never got an email with an elsweyr beta code, but I was in Morrowind and Summerset betas.

I'm hearing this from other people too. Everyone who pre-ordered Elsweyr has access, everyone who didn't pre-order it doesn't have access. No one has received any emails with the code and it doesn't matter if they participated in past betas.

It seems to me that however ZOS decided to set up entitlement for beta this time around (maybe to avoid spamming people with beta invite emails), it didn't work.

You have to log in with one of your other characters before Necro (and Elsweyr, I suppose) gets unlocked.

Edit: I didn't pre-order yet, btw, and I still have access to everything.

I never logged into my other characters. I just logged in, saw I couldn't make necro (or log into any character, because of pts not being all the way up actually), logged out, pre-ordered, logged back in and immediately made my necro.

I'll let people know that they should try logging in though

I’m on console and have immediate access. If you were active on forums back around Morrowind era you were set.

I was invited 2 years ago for the Morrowind BETA, i played in the summerset as well, and now i dont have freaking access to Necromancer class WTF ?! @ZOS_GinaBruno

I’m on console and have immediate access. If you were active on forums back around Morrowind era you were set.

I was around but not active on the forums. Only got my PC version just after Summerset so 1st Chapter PTS.

I got invited to test Elsweyr on PC. After downloading all PTS server files and login in to a generate a new acc there is no possibility to create an Necromancer,

The button is gray and says: Needs Elsweyr.

So, no testing for that.

@Nevaee you need to login with a non Necro character first. When you log in the game grants you elsweyr. Then you can go back to character creation and make a necro

I wondered why I have not got invitation email, but just checked my account and found out I had not "signed up to receive the latest news and offers". Which may or may not explain that. (I probably turned it off around 2015 when I quit my first try. )
I opted in now but it may be too late. Too bad.

Thank you MissBizz. I had no char on PTS, maybe then the reason. I will make a new one, then log off and try to make a Necro. Thanks again for the hint.

If nothing else go ahead and install the PTS and see if you can login. I was able to login on my baby account that has no invite. Cannot create a Necro unless you bought it on the Live version of the same account. I created a Stamina Warden on the baby account and it works. So IDK....no invite but it works. Then again it could be I got an invite that I never saw which was lost in the email SPAM folder??
