Are you going to continue to ruin it? How much times do you have to run the class into the ground?

You see i was going to type in here concisely how you continue to ruin the class and make nonsensical changes.

I might still give one example but at the end of the day know this.

I don't care how you do it. Next year OVERHAUL ALL CLASSES...REDEFINE ALL THEM. THINK IT THROUGH.

TBH, all the changes were only beneficial to PVE.


BAD CHANGES

Note that by bad changes, i don't mean the former was better...

Power of the Light: Adjusted the ability rank up for this morph so it no longer gains damage on the initial hit, but instead increases the duration of Minor Fracture and Breach applied, since that is the focus of the morph. This will result in approximately a 3% damage loss on the initial hit, but the duration of the Minor Fracture and Breach will last 9 seconds, up from 6 seconds at their final rank.

ok wow, so more duration on buffs even though we can just put it back on if we needed to. Clearly a nerf. People use it for the explode damage. Who cares about the buff being on it after that...

What I said on templar class rep about POTL:

Power of the light FORCES ME TO INVEST IN STAMINA ONLY....This makes it possible to ONLY run BONE PIRATES AND HULKING DRAGUR...in pvp for any type of killing power...Not only that for a "light" based move why the hell can a NB dodge it once they cloak up? It should still pop and show their location.


Empowering Sweep (morph): Redesigned this morph to offer damage, rather than survivability. The damage pulse after the initial hit now lasts 6 seconds at base, but is increased by 2 seconds for each enemy hit, up to a maximum of 6 enemies. It also now grants Empower for the duration, rather than Major Protection.

So, did anybody remember solar barrage already gives you empower if you want it? This can't be used in PVP.. There is no stamplar that can 1 V X. Dead before the radiation even finishes. You want everybody to streamline dawnbreaker of smiting so much. Good for PVE though...

At least the sweeps distance is further... it was quite dumb to have it a shorter distance than AXE BRAWLER move.

You could see the people in front of you and hit sweep and see none get hit... in the inception of this game, some idiot thought the last hit of jabs would actually hit so they could use sweeps...but practice showed that almost never happens...


NEUTRAL CHANGE

These changes look good on paper but I still will test and see


Cleansing Ritual: This ability and its morphs will now grant healing and/or damage based on the users' highest offensive stats, rather than just Max Magicka and Spell Damage.

3. The heals on stamplar are lacking...EVERYBODY has vigor and rally.... you WANT ME TO INVEST IN STAMINA FOR POWER OF THE LIGHT...BUT USE BREATH OF LIFE TO HEAL ME? DOES THAT EVEN MAKE SENSE TO YOU? Don't you dare tell me anything about cheese cleansing...CLEANSING SUCKS and does not substitute a reason for having less healing capability on stamplar...Other classes i used (DK, NB) I CAN OUT HEAL THE MANY DOTs on me.

Still Not Addressed
1. Jabs need to be switched...forget that last hit bs where the slowness occurs...EVERYBODY doesn't get hit by the last hit of jabs they run out of the range. The ones that do want to be in your face so it's dumb to place it. So it should be "upon getting hit ONCE by the jabs, a spear is left in and is stuck into the person. It then explodes after some time dealing some type of damage and snaring them and/or slowing them 70% .



Now if you will excuse me I am going to continue to have fun on my OP DK .... I was able to 1 V X in frecking BGs with it... soo much better than templar... it was like a weight was lifted off my back.. what did i say in the templar class rep thread...

I was given trash all these years... and my eyes were finally opened that day...

    The PoL change is fine, its decent if you need a bit of extra punch after the explosion goes off. The copy damage doesn't change. Its a 3% reduction in the initial hit, relax. Personally Im not using PoL for the initial hit.

    Empowering sweeps change from major protection to empower is a HUGE nerf. I see the range change "oh great, this ulti is now pretty nice" then I read that major protection was removed for empower "lol time to unslot". Apparently stamina builds aren't allowed any ultimates other than DBoS for damage. If this was a change targetted at PvE, why not have both empower and major protection? It's not as if empower is strong in PvP anyways and this ultimate isn't used much either.
    Overload rework. Power Overload now does physical damage and grants you the power of a tornado: You throw a brick at the target with a light attack, and you hammer your head into that brick with every heavy attack. We have decreased its Ultimate cost, but increased the chance that you get stuck in the animation.

    What about the good pve stuff?

    Cheaper, less clunky solar barrage. 8 meter crescent. Sun fire is a true DoT. More initial damage on shards.

    If you were using DBoS and surviving, the major protection on Empowering is pretty meaningless. I was actually upset when they flipped the morphs for mag and stam and took away the damage. Adding the damage back and giving empower for the duration is great. Going to be able to hit hard with this and your light attacks during it's duration. And if you hit 6 or more targets the aoe dot lasts 18 seconds. That is 18 seconds of an aoe ultimate that provides you empower during the entire time. It's potentially stupid strong.

    The skill already scales off your max magicka stats, spell damage and max mag. That is not changing at all. So for mag healers, literally nothing is different. What is changed is for stam builds, if stam and weapon damage is higher tham mag and spell damage, the skill will scale off the stamina stats. Making the skill more powerful for stam builds that it is now.

    It's pretty clear they want magicka Templars to be nothing but a Breath of Life spamming healbot. Stamina Templars lost the only meaningful class defensive buff we had with the nerf to Empowering Sweep. Solar Flare now does less damage than Snipe and Uppercut, both also 1s cast time abilities.

    Might as well reroll a pet sorc, press 2 buttons, and win the game.

    The worst change by far is Total Dark. Used well it could force a twitchy animation cancelling combo master to think twice before attempting to burst, now the damage will be so pitiful it will just be shrugged off as they burst away meaning the unique defensive/offensive capability of the move is lost.
