Resto ult nerf - why?

Just remove the major force if it's too offensive and defensive at the same time. No one used it for that anyway. Losing the major protection is too much for the only defensive heal ult some classes (like sorc) had access to.

The ult is op asf, the nerf was well needed......
Maybe they could replace the Major protection with minor, to compensate in a way.

Because mage should die if melee guy got him cornered and not reset fight with cheap ulti. Sorcs are already good at PVP, as for magblade it's obvious that ZOS pushes magblade to be actual mag-melee class like magDK, but relying on cloak and ambush rather then tankiness and sheer power.

I used it for the Major Force. It's like a cheap War Horn. I will miss the protection though.

As in what? Sorcs don't get a remembrance or tree ult comparable, so resto is the only option if you're running that sort of setup.

As in what? Sorcs don't get a remembrance or tree ult comparable, so resto is the only option if you're running that sort of setup.

as in that is now a sorc drawback to account for LOS pets, mobilty via streak, and mag scaled class shield on top of burst damage.

I'm gonna miss tanking the whole zerg in light armor with this ult active but...that's probably why this ult is getting nerfed lol.

It's balance issue in regards to PvE damage migration. Major force and protection could only affect 5 people while war horn and Nightblade,warden, and Templar defense ultitimate affects 12.

Just get rid of the LOS issue then. Other classes have mobility and burst, so that's hardly an issue.

Actually, and this is coming from someone who uses Resto ult on Magden when outnumbered A LOT, I'm happy for this change. It hurts to not have the major protection, but it will be better to not have everyone else with it so easily.

I really dislike this nerf, but I agree that the current version of light's champion is a bit too strong. My hopes would be: remove the life giver morph, then create one morph that gives major protection while the other gives major force.

I only use this skill defensively and the major protection is a huge part of it. I don't wanna be forced to use remembrance on my magplar, since I hate losing all of my mobility.
