Suggestion: Wayshrine pack, Skill Lines, Level 50 boosts in the Crown Store

@ALL who are pro *I / we want to buy all through the store*…

I have an absolute amazing idea - all those of you who want to have stuff like Skilllines, Wayshrines, etc., etc., etc. sold through the Crownstore, why not vote for closing down ESO right now and opening up ESO 2.0... In that new ESO 2.0 game you all don't need to play at all, you just need to log in every now an then and pay with RL money to get everything you were able to get through playing in the original ESO... When you have it you just log out again, because there won't be any content to do, since you already have everything and doing the same thing over and over again (PvP, Trials, Dungeons, etc.) without needing and getting anything will be boring… Best thing will be also that the Devs don't need to code much… They only need to code a Crownstore, the stuff you all will buy and some area/region where all Chars can spawn and all of you can look on all the *cool* stuff you bought …


@ZOS …

Just look at those people... They are all ready to be milked dry through a new ESO 2.0 Game, which main content will be only consisting out of pure *monetization* … As a company I would jump right at that and suck the money out of all players, like a Blackhole sucks all the matter out of its surrounding space …

Why didn't you include vMA, Master's, BRP weapons, Monster helms on the crown store, when you have already done them once. I mean, what's the point of doing it again, right? Why stop at Skyshards, Wayshrines and skill points? I sure don't want to do it over and over again on all my 10 other alts. Pfffft. Why are people so lazy?

You don't need to be so angry, it's just a suggestion and it's just piggybacking off of ZOS' own idea of doing skyshard unlocks. They already announced the skyshard packs and I think these would compliment / go well with those packs. They're only unlocked if you've already done it with your main character. You can still get ALL of it the regular way in the game, someone who opens their wallet and gets unlocks doesn't have an advantage over someone who walks around to get wayshrines or skyshards. And the XP boosts are already in the store, why not a level 50 one too? If you don't want to buy then vote with your money, and don't buy. Get everything in game. It's going to be a nice option however, for everyone with multiple toons already and have more money than time to grind it out. Or you can always convert your in game gold to crowns and buy the skyshard / wayshrine / whatever packs with in game gold. Everybody wins, ZOS makes more money, players get what they pay for or grind for, we can go right to playing on our new toons.

Your experience is somehow diminished because someone else traded money for time? They get nothing more nor less than you at the end of the game, so why do you care what they do?

You have the option to spend the time that you feel is the only correct payment for progress, no one is taking that away.

Ask yourself, why are you even playing then? What's the point of playing a game if you..dont actually play it and just pay for everything?

I'm sure everyone will welcome with open arms all these new players who have no idea how to actually play who paid for their character jumping into vet content, right?

Then why do you still play the game. If you want to buy everything in game? Just play another game if you're bored or tired. I did that for 2 years. You nor anyone don't have to play ESO when you don't like to play it anymore. You nor anyone else don't have to have alts. IF ZOS will do this I want all my gold back from leveling my alts.

Then why do you still play the game. If you want to buy everything in game? Just play another game if you're bored or tired. I did that for 2 years. I don't play just one game lol. Of course I play other games. I'm suggesting this because they're releasing necromancer class with Elsweyr and that means it's time to try the new class by rolling a new character. Since you know, we can't change classes in this game. As someone who has already leveled 12 characters and done the grind multiple times, I'm not looking forward to the hours of leveling and getting skyshards and such. I'd much rather work an extra hour IRL and use the money to get right to end game. You can always get more money but you don't get any "time" back. I don't find skyshard chasing or psijic portal chasing fun after the 12th time, but I would love to try necromancer at end game with actual skill points & things unlocked. I'm thinking if ZOS is going to sell us skyshard packs anyway, why not add other things with it as well? They can gate these purchases behind achievements like having max CP so you can't buy it as a first time player or for example having had all the skyshards already on your account. I don't really care about logistics, that's ZOS' job on figuring out how to implement. As a consumer, I'm suggesting something which would be valuable to me and something that can potentially make ZOS more money. For people that don't want to use IRL money because the crowns conversion in your country is too high or whatever IRL reasons, then there's the option of using in game gold with the crown exchange discord. If you don't want to participate at all because it's nonsense to you or if you find chasing skyshards enjoyable, then you can get it the normal way, in the game. You don't have to open your wallet. I'm not suggesting giving us any vMA weapons or gear in the crown store. I got all my vMA / master's / perfected asylum weapons the regular way, and I had to do that content over and over again. And I don't have a problem with doing trials or vMA over and over again. Having equippable weapons / items with attributes usable for pvp against other players would be pay to win. However skyshards, mages or psijic skill lines (much like they have vampire & werewolf skill lines already in the store), and leveling boosts (much like they have 150% XP scrolls or ESO+ XP bonuses already) those do not give you an advantage over other players and it is possible to get in the game. I'm suggesting being able to get things you would normally get walking around overland because that whole entire process with the skyshards and wayshrines and psijic portals is a chore. And I'm putting this on the forums because as a customer, I would like the option to buy these things from ZOS.

Long answer- They might as well just sell full character builds to you, it would make the game feel cheep for those who actually put time into the game. What is wrong with actually putting the time into your character? It’s just lazy at that point. It should be a place where we are equals and putting in the time is what makes you great, not who makes more money irl has better alts.

I put time into the game though. And how would the alts be better with wayshrines unlocked or skyshards unlocked? How would the alts be better if I spend 10 hours powerleveling in Skyreach with 150% XP scrolls vs. I spend 2 minutes clicking on a level 50 boost item? I'd still have to learn to play the class, and I'd have to go farm gear the regular way, and have to go play to level the skill lines to get the morphs. If you buy Vampirism or Werewolf skill lines from the store right now it doesn't just hand you all the morphs right away. Also I'm pretty sure if I went to PvP on a level 50 boosted character I'd still get owned by somebody who played hundreds of hours on their character with regularly collected wayshrines / skills / skyshards. If I go to PVE, my raid leaders for trial groups would still want me to show a parse first if dpsing. I guess it's pay to skip / pay not to grind, but you don't win anything. You don't get an automatic trials clear or pvp cyrodiil or battlegrounds win with any of these items.

Some people just don't want to play the game - they want to spend hundreds, even thousands of real life currency to bypass what they have paid for so they can do trials or whatever - and frankly if they want to throw that money into the new server fund then that's fine with me. Personally I won't be paying money to NOT play the game, but I am funny like that.

Just don't ever allow people to break down the things that differentiate character from account or buy a sword of infinite damage + 2 and I expect most of us will survive and keep on killing these wallet warriors.

But there is just so much fun to be had when you mindlessly do skyreach over and over for a couple hours to reach level 50 and another couple hours to level all your skills and other skilllines. You can get a real sense of exploration and wonder when you level psijic order, mages guild and collect all non delve skyshards on 10+ characters. The experience you gain from doing lots of dungeon/trial achievements while having to deal with pugs that screw up every no death just so you can do a few dungeons more to reach undaunted level 9 is invaluable. You can also enjoy getting destroyed and tbagged when getting that level 6 assault for caltrops on your purely PvE characters.

Every time I have this urge to really play another class I can't wait to get into it a week later after I finished all the grinding. The journey is the real goal after all and this sense of excitement isn't easy to reproduce. Nothing is more fun than slaving away in a game and repeating things I have done a dozen times just so I can work on perfecting them.

Can't wait for necromancer /s.

Tbh, i would like to buy maxed out skill lines in the Store. Ofc, only avaible if you already did the content before on another character.

I just hate the grind to get another character. Max Level is okay, doesnt take this Long. But getting skyshards, Undaunted, mages guild, psijic all on max takes aaaaaages and as a pvp player with Limited time due to working/family i would love to skip this Part cause it just takes way to long.

Or just make it Account wide, like the skins we get from Dungeons and more. We did it with one character, every other character gets acces to it. Make it like this just for Guild skill lines.

Doesnt hurt anyone, isnt anyway near p2w....

Really, how can players say that this is p2w... I can either spend 5 hours running around the world and collecting lore books or just skip this part by buying a token. P2w would be if i could Upgrade my weapons to more then legendary only with the help of crown store to get more damage.

Interesting how you see it that way, being that it is a staple of a Buyer Beware concept - I mean, in the long run, hell even the short run, leveling would be more beneficial and reap more of the rewards versus paying for a boost that I described...

Instant 50 lvl is ok, if only you are at max cp level (or 500/600). anyway with that events you can reach 50 lvl in 2-3 hours near spellscar.

How about we put a max progression pack in the crown store for 25,000 crowns, it will completely max out everything on your account and then ban you so you never have to play again!

A totally maxed out character with all skills, talents, sky shards, CP, etc. all done at the start.

If you don't want to play the game then don't play the game and find another one to actually play.

As someone who has grinded out way way more than the average player in this game I sure find it amusing to see people getting all angry about me wanting to be able to buy for example the psijic skillline maxed after I have already done it multiple times. Especially since it wouldn't affect those people in the least. All of you could care less if I have the skillline on seven or eight characters yet you are here getting all angry over the notion of it. I don't wish anyone to have to go through these ridiculous grinds repeatedly.

I also have yet to come across an actual good argument against this because everything that has been posted here boils down to: "I don't like that others would be able to get their alts quicker finished than me". Yet people always say that ESO has such a nice community.


TLDR for this thread:

People without much time or patience not wanting to grind over and over again and are willing to pay to avoid painful repetition and a bunch of other people that wouldn't be affected in the least getting all angry over it.
