It is supposed to be a tool for self improvement and it was pointed out that one can use it at a target dummy and analyse one's personal data to see where one could improve.

Really these tools benefit the competitive players that are working at improving their endgame performance and I suspect many raiding or trials guilds will welcome this new addition. It is not an app btw.😜

I personally feel that zos is essentially focused on developing competitive content and by competitive I mean challenging. They have admitted themselves that this data analyser whatever it's called, has been created to help players improve so they can tackle the harder content.

Im not sure how I feel about it and it doesn't matter anyway. 😊😊😊

There is always are dark and a bright side to it, sure toxicity can be one, but on the other hand it will offer you a chance to improve and maybe can be used for further content development as well.

I'm not really sure if this will find a lot of interested out of the "raidbubble" anyway.

This is great news. As a tank I certainly kicked ok players in the past because I couldn’t figure out which dd is the potato. Now i will never kick capable player by mistake again.

this is the reason why it should never have been made, and why dps logging was removed from addons

So that all DDs get kicked instead of just the fake one?

Ah yes i was waiting for this thread onstream. warcraftlogs, ah i mean esologs QQ.

    wow logs
    eso logs "new feature"

the resemblance is uncanny. cant wait to farm 99% parses and smite the casuals with my dps in eso as well :triumph:

ArchMikem - see the poll thread, there's a link in there to the posted info.

What, is that a new Addon? PC gaming has always been toxically competitive and discriminating. I play on the wonderfully limited world of Consoles.

No, it will be a new built-in encounter logging feature - but only for PC.

I see now, and I can already see the ways try hards will still use it to single players out, even when they're anonymous. I've seen people who will put forth enormous effort when it comes to being crappy toward others.

It's the same developer as FFlogs, Warcraftlogs, wildstarlogs lol. It has speed leaderboards and stuff too now.

    leaderboards...

Toxic posts incoming....... in game, in group from group finder, in the forum.

    Sigh.....

Think they'd learn from their own history, and the history of other games....

This is crazy, it will only hurt causal players who just want to enjoy group and trial contant. I see nothing wrong with including addon features to the base game but for personal use only. Only elite guilds ask for this why force it on all of us. Even with the option to op out why would any trial guild not force you to have it running.

So why after 2 years after disabling all Dps meters they bring it back again?

It has NEVER been that way

FTC, and other addons kept track of individual dps in dungeons and raids people got kicked out from groups from being toxic all the time for being worse than others.

If the second DPS in a dungeon is pulling 5% of group DPS and not listening to feedback, they deserve to get kicked. You don't get a free pass to be bad in a game. There are 3 other people on your team whose time matters.

I've never kicked someone for pulling 5% DPS (and yes, it happens), but I wouldn't hold it against anyone who does.

Should never be implemented this will only cause toxicity and specially the so called elitist.
If you can carry a low cp player or dps on a dungeon then your 50k dps is trash and you have no right to call yourself elitist.

Elitism at best ^, they don't deserve to be kicked they deserve to learn how to get better tbh, after a few tries if they think they're still doing bad then they'll volunteer to leave which happens in most of my norm dungeons I even did it as well in a vet dungeon to make room for someone else cause I suck at dps as well but that didn't stop them from being toxic about it as well

Exactly I got kicked from many norm dungeons for not pulling 20k dps in a normal just cause you can't speed run it means everyone else gets dropped lol

Protect the potatoes and cloud my judgement? How is this fair for the low cp dude a actually doing dmg?

Yes they do, especially those high cp potatoes. They are extremely entitled for making nearly 0 contributions. Oh and they don’t leave no matter how much you flame them.
