PvP Crying Sorcs = another Mag DK Nerf, Wings... Really?

What happened? Did a DK reflect a light attack and not die to the cookie cutter Sorc combo that 80% of the players in Cyrodil run when they aren't stacking sheilds and kiting away?


It seems every other change to the PvP community has something to do with ZOS pampering to these "elite sorcerers" who seem to have an issue anytime they lose a fight,, and I guess they should have an issue since they have almost every advantage in the game already

Sorcs get Curse and Mages Wrath for their damage stack, after Ruin Cage of course... and will be behind 2 sheilds (maybe you can nerf shield breaker again!) probably, hiding behind pets which always seem to be in the way even when your target locked on the Sorc himself,: but who cares because with their massive Magicka pool, unlimited regen they will likely just streak all the way across the Cyrodil the first time they are hit.
or course healing with every attack..

Hey but we can still make a lame ass tank with our Mag DK's since that seems to be the only thing we are supposed to make right? No Execute, the biggest attack is Flame Lash which was essentially ruined when you changed off balance immunity and made the skill utterly unreliable not to mention it's absurdly slow to begin with.


As someone who has mained a Mag DK since day 1, and remembers when there was only like 2 in all of Cyrodil (and still stuck with it)

So many I can'r remember them all!!
1) Off Balance Immunity killed Flame Lash for the few light armor high DPS Mag DK's out there
2) Standard of Might caps defile at a weak 30%, easily overcome by the massive healing everyone has
3) Heavy Attack Damage nerfed, Molten Armaments
4) Igneous Sheild made worthless
5) Dark Elves lose Flame Damage buff (this was for Mag Dk's.... not Fire Sorcs, lol)
6) Dragon Leap is terrible to target and half the time "misses" even though you land on them... absurd
7) Magma Armor is essentially worthless in PvP, can't remember the last time I saw anyone use it.
----that's enough I am sure there is more....

If remove our wings - its not reworking. It is killing it, than rework NB invis - not to let go invisible in combat then and make sorcerers pets killable than.

Why i must attack immortal or near immortal pet when i take another target , when i want attack sorc ? It is near immortal, and it attack me and heal its user - is it balance ? Make it duy from 3 my attacks then ! Why is it so immortal ?

Why do nb make go invisible in combat ? With dots on them ?

You think wings overpowered, than block invise to them. Let them be in it only in no combat.

If you thing that wings are not balanced - remove this immortallity from them !

I think it is more unbalanced than return spme projectiles !!!

And yes. Sorc jump to fast - rebalance it to just run faster like others does. If you think that removing our specifick buff or rebalancing in this way that make it trash like this is the same. Remove there unique skills, rework there unique too if you remove our from us !

MDk have only good heal if we remove wings, but the same is for all other. Healing ward, surge, skills that drain hp from target. And + finishers, range damage and mobility and pets. Wing save use, if you remove it than remove this offbalancing difference betwean us.

Remove it from them or give us the same skills !

Considering how many times they have nerfed sorc (I mean there is still an ongoing trend of 'this is now a Nerf Sorc' thread memes) I don't think they are the reason for nerfing DK.

DK is supposed to be tanky, reflect projectiles and stack dots at the cost of having no execute, no class range attacks and a laughable heal. DK nerfs are completely uncalled for. Why nerf DK? Because it's hard to kill. Mind blown... a class dedicated to tanking is hard to kill.

ZOS as always fails to see the bigger picture. A class is hard to kill? Nerf it's defences. They have done it with sorc but they forgot that sorc still has an arsenal of skills in place to easily adapt. Mainly insane burst potential to 'kill before you get killed'. A DK does not have that. A DK has to work on stacking damage over time until it overpowers the healing capabilities of the enemy. It's a potential of 'Survive long enough to kill'.

So yes, I totally get your point. Nerfing defences is ok but if you fail to understand why certain classes have better defence than the others, you only create imbalance. Strip DKs of their defence and you're left with a class that can't survive long enough for the potential damage to kill anything.

I am still hoping that there will be some sort of balance there, like a class execute, so that DKs can kill faster at the cost of not surviving long enough.

I guess come May: roll Nerco?

People rely heavily on their pets. Take pets out quick and it forces them to focus on trying to get em back up. Just bash them when they try to summon em back up or use crushing shock on them.

Pets are near immortal, i attack not sorc but his pet even if i target him with button. It is targeted but with no reason i attack his pet. It is the bug ! Fix it ! And it us near immortallly hard to kill. If it good damage players make it take the same damage from players !

If mdk can bot protect him from ranged enemy anymore - give us abillity to damage range players as good as tgey do.

50% resist to range projectile is trash. It is nithing !

I just can light attack players and put oblivion, health reduction, dots in it. MDK can not attack - it is melle combat. But enemy can. It is not normal !

agreed...seen the video of 4 petsrocs with Maw of the infernal on top in BGs...disgusting af to play against..

pets are way to hard to kill, especially if the get shields form the sorc, or healed.
furthermore the game does not support a hardtarget...which makes it impossible to focus the dmg on the sorc, since youll land skill son the pets or ppl standing inbetween...but the hardtarget problem is a whole other problem, which also is need of improvement in PVE, since hitboxes from bosses can collide / move into each other, making taunting a 50/50 sometimes, which is unnessecary.

It's disgusting how they catter nightblades, most overused class in this game. I'm playing shooters and I can tell that the same players who are choosing NB are playing snipers in FPS. Because it's ez, because it's cool, because i'm eliteh mastah assasin git gud scrub. I'm allright with that as long game's design won't grant them too much power. Unfortunely in many cases git gud crowd is vocal and developers start to listed to their whinning which results in complete inbalance, boring camper matches and after couple of months nobody plays PVP anymore. That's what you get when you catter selfish one pony trick players instead of focusing on teamplay and having a dynamic, balanced game.

I don't see why Sorcs would cry when Magblades are the only class that's completely disabled by wings- but they have stealth and teleport, so they're in no place to complain.
The only thing Sorcs can't do against wings is pop Crystal Fragments, everything else is fine.

I even don't bother with sorcs in cyrodiil, because I know they'll just ward- streak- streak- ward- heal- heal. or spam dark deal, streak to regen, then repeat. -and the ones that don't are usually running 3 proc sets + bleeds.

Mag Sorcs still dont have a reliable cc against DKs since rune cage was gutted. When there are enough dks to warrant then frags comes of the bar which is one of our most powerful skills. Its the equivalent of taking say flame lash of your bar as a dk. Its awesome when the targetting and lag is so bad that your frag hits the skillful wings reflect and you frag yourself instead...

So then you slot mines which is great unless you are against other ranged also. Wings pidgeon holes mag sorcs into sub par abilities also

Yes, it was mostly magicka nbs. They don't have curses, pets, and an execute that can safely go through wings to slowly wittle the DK down. They also don't use crushing shock which is unreflectable, so it was only natural they would complain.

Not once did I say that I oppose wings, or that I play a magblade- just that they're disabled by them, and thatt they have their own abilities that disable other classes so they have right to complain. -same with sorcs.

Spamming crushing shock isn't going to get them anywhere- their main burst comes from Spectral Bow and impale- both of which are reflected by wings.

Not every build will work against every class, (unless you play a cheese build,) which is why I don't bother with sorcs on my main.
pvp is all about selecting the right targets and knowing your build's limitations.

Well, mDKs receive new whip which will have 40% more damage after using 2 other ardent abilities.. and it all depends on duration of new buff.. if it will be 20 seconds like with all similar soft-counter buffs in the game, it will be extremely hard to do any decisive damage with projectiles to DK and will work better against the zerg.

You can hit dk when you turn of wings. With any thing you want. You can do it with crushingshot ? Any problem?
